Raced just three times so far and possible he'll improve for the drop to the minimum trip for the first time. can make the running but need to improve on the lacklustre effort he posted on debut for his current yard last time out.
Speedy on his day and proved he's tough to deal with when making every yard here eight days ago. Sets the standard at present and has to merit plenty of respect despite giving weight to all bar one of his rivals. (Rider's claim helps on that score.)
Cost 95,000 gns and has a very likeable pedigree. Yard more than capable with runners of this nature and the son of the speedy Kyllachy has to merit an interest if the market shows him in a good light for his racecourse debut.
Finished eighth of twelve on debut but might not have appreciated the soft ground. Should have come on for the experience, though, and might have a bit to offer now switching surfaces. Looks one for the notebook rather than a punt though.
Gelded before he ever raced but not made much impact in either start so far. Difficult to say what he achieved in finishing fourth in France last time out but possible he'll do better in handicaps next season.
No impression in a poor seller at Wolverhampton in October and very hard to see her figuring at the business end on the evidence from that debut run.
Tried to make all over 6f at Kempton in October but overhauled near the finish. Possible this drop in trip will suit ideally and looks a likely candidate for a place in the frame if she's thrived since last seen out.
Only slight glimpses of ability shown so far and latest performances have been uninspiring. Others make far more appeal.
Only finished in front of one horse on each occasion from three previous starts. Needs a complete transformation to even make it into mid division.
Forecasts
Drakefell (11/10), Hit The Beat (15/8), Galloway Hills (7/1), Crystal Deauville (12/1), Zouch (12/1), Gunnar Julius (14/1), Eesha Says (100/1), Mocead Cappall (100/1), Swiss Psalm (100/1)
This is sure to be run at a good clip and the likes of Drakefell and Hit The Beat set a good standard from those with previous experience. However, there could be some value to be squeezed out of siding with nicely-bred newcomer GALLOWAY HILLS, who certainly ticks the boxes on pedigree and this 95,000 gns purchase may well have been found an easy opening for his debut run.
- Galloway Hills
- Drakefell
- Hit The Beat
