Fair degree of promise in both starts at Windsor and Newmarket. One of the more likely types if taking to this AW surface.
Lope De Vega colt who cost 75,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to 5f winner Newton's Law. Makes his debut and worth a market check with stable among the winners.
Camelot colt who fetched €180,000 as a foal and is a half-brother to three middle-distance winners. Looks one for longer distances next year, but represents a good stable and should be noted in the betting.
Son of Dutch Art who fetched 52,000 gns as a yearling and is from a winning family from 8f to 1m4f. Likely to need this debut run, but has a nice pedigree and is worth keeping an eye on.
A €200,000 purchase earlier this year, he is by Choisir out a dam who was a Listed winner in Italy. Shaped with a good deal of promise to be second on debut at Newmarket and is a leading player on that evidence.
Fetched £52,000 as a yearling and is a gelded son of Choisir out of a Gone West mare. Interesting to see if the market speaks for him on his racecourse bow.
Son of New Approach who is a half-brother to 10 winners from 7f to 1m3f. Nice pedigree and one of the more likely debutants.
Harbour Watch filly who is a half-sister to seven winners from 5f to 1m. Will probably needs this debut experience and is best watched.
Sepoy filly who fetched £84,000 as a yearling and is from the family of top sprinter Reverence. Top stable always to be respected and she should be monitored in the betting on debut.
Rip Van Winkle filly whose price dropped from 22,000 gns as a foal to 10,000 as a yearling, but is related to winners. Signs of ability over C&D, but probably needs more time to develop.
Kheleyf filly out of a Kyllachy mare, she is from the family of good sprinter Eveningperformance. Speedy pedigree so this may be further than she wants to go on debut.
A 230,000 gns puchase by prolific sire Dark Angel, she is a half-sister to a winner over 12f and one over 6f and 7f. Quite well backed on debut at Redcar and shaped encouragingly. Should do better.
