Winner of novice event at this track on debut (6f, good to soft) but has regressed in four starts since and both runs this summer left a lot to be desired.
Well into the veteran stage but has maintained a decent level of form over the summer, including a 7f good-ground win at Epsom in July off a mark of 87. Held in this grade on two most recent outings.
Entitled to have needed last month's run at Goodwood on soft ground in first outing since May. Capable performer, runner-up here over 6f on good ground in April from 4lb higher rating and stays this trip. Interesting with a run behind her.
Much-improved performer this season having been gelded. Winner over 1m at Windsor in July and ran a stormer next time in Class 2 at Goodwood to be close second (7f, soft). Forgiven flop on AW at Kempton in August and previous form noted.
Progressive throughout this first year of racing. Won twice on AW and placed in all three starts since including his latest after a short break over this C&D. Handicap mark rising all the time but form matching it.
Dubawi filly won a Newmarket maiden on debut (6f, good to firm) in July 2016, before being highly tried in trio of pattern races last summer. Has a 379-day absence to overcome but not underestimated at this level.
Reliable performer that is likely to give his running once more, but is rated 8lb higher than previous winning mark (7f, soft Musselburgh) last month and may find one or two better equipped on these terms.
Couple of wins earlier in the year over this trip at Catterick, will act on any ground and has slipped 3lb below previous winning mark. Must bounce back from recent efforts.
Not the most straightforward but has struck a good relationship with this rider, scoring win and close second over this trip at Catterick last month. Up in class and more called for this time.
Runner-up in three starts last year, each at Hamilton and over 6f, appears to handle any ground and started this campaign by winning a Musselburgh maiden over 7f by the slenderest of margins in April. Returns now for handicap debut.
In winning form earlier in the year (Catterick and Musselburgh) and showed plenty off this mark at Chester in September when beaten 1½L by Explain (7f, heavy). However, this hooded gelding is a shade in and out and is hard to trust.
Decent strike rate on turf (5-30), with most recent success at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) in April at this level. Been toiling in recent outings but now rated 6lb below previous winning mark if putting jigsaw back together.
Does not find winning easy from this or similar marks (1-19 on turf), but would certainly have to enter calculations on an each-way basis and will handle soft ground.
Won a seller at Leicester last month over this trip on final start for Richard Hannon, ran well on first start for this handler back there in a claimer since but facing a much sterner test of credentials now and likely to be found wanting.
In much better form at the start/middle of the year winning handicaps here and at Ayr but has never been the most consistent. Last four runs have all been poor and he remains one to be wary of in this grade.
Returned from 480-day layoff with tame show on debut for this handler when attempting 1m4f for the first time at Catterick recently. Not especially well handicapped on old form now back down in trip and safest to look elsewhere in all probability.
Thrives over this 7f trip and ran well over C&D last month in Class 4 apprentice contest, beaten 1½L into third spot. Races from the same mark now but this looks a tougher contest on paper.
Experienced campaigner, scored back-to-back successes at Carlisle and Catterick in June over 7f/1m. Not quite able to repeat in five attempts since but now back on previous winning mark.
Winner over 1m at Carlisle in August, very good run recently on AW at Newcastle should leave him spot on for this but career-best performance will likely be needed.
Filly is holding her form very well, winner over this trip at Carlisle in August and placed in five runs either side of that victory. Most recently was 1L second to re-opposing Boots And Spurs at Catterick (7f, soft) 21 days ago. Can go well again.

What's The Story is perhaps the most interesting making his handicap debut. He won a maiden at Musselburgh in April on his reappearance and hasn't been spotted since. The handicapper hasn't been especially tough and he is worth close scrutiny in the betting now. The filly Lady In Question has been a model of consistency lately and while this might be her toughest test yet, she can go well again. Boots And Spurs had her behind when scoring at Catterick last time and is respected along with Hajjam, not beaten far over C&D a fortnight ago. GOLDEN AMBER shaped well in a big-field 6f handicap here in April, amidst some solid AW efforts this year. She's rated 4lb lower now and was surely in need of the outing at Goodwood last month. With that behind her, she could run well at price in a wide open contest.
