A winner at Windsor two starts ago but both AW wins came on Polytrack and it's difficult to see her getting involved in this off top weight.
Never figured last time but in good form prior to that and progressive; chance to bounce back here if overcoming a wide draw and an unchanged mark.
Remains a maiden but two solid runs for new yard the last twice and has to have a chance with first time cheek pieces based on what she's shown.
Carries a 6lb penalty for a C&D victory a week ago, but probably would have won with the extra weight on that occasion and only likely to be undone here by a less suitable draw.
Lightly-raced maiden who has run a couple of nice races but needs the best run of her short career so far in order to pose a major threat here.
Narrowly beat Edge at Bath two starts ago but is actually 6lb better off at weights now (reopposing rival has won twice since), but he is only 1/23 in his career.
Yet to get off the mark and his last two runs in particular have been very poor, beaten 53L and 22L into last both times. Tongue strap on.
0/11 in her career so far and needs to find plenty of improvement for the addition of first time blinkers, otherwise looks set for a minor role.
Just 1/23 in her career but out-ran her odds on her last start for her previous trainer here last time and could hit the frame once again if arriving here in the same form.
Ran fairly over C&D last time and has won at this course in the past. Below that winning mark now (though has only been 1lb higher since) and not discounted.
Both career wins have come over C&D but she's drawn a blank so far this year and looks held here on her current form.
15 race maiden who has tended to run her more promising races over further than this, and difficult to see her getting off the mark on her current rating.
Showed little in three maidens and has plenty to prove on this handicap debut, despite a predictably low opening mark.
Forecasts
Power Home (3/1), Tuolumne Meadows (11/2), Edge (6/1), Filament Of Gold (7/1), Sunshineandbubbles (10/1), Dor's Law (10/1), Windsorlot (10/1), Champagne Pink (12/1), Bonnie Gals (14/1), Pensax Lady (16/1), Petit Filous (16/1), Unsuspected Girl (25/1), Captain Cockle (33/1)
POWER HOME put up a very impressive display in a similar race to this over C&D a week ago, and while she carries a penalty for that victory the 6lb extra would be unlikely to have stopped her on that occasion and if overcoming a higher draw there seems to be very little else to stop her here. Windsorlot wins infrequently enough but could still prove the best of the opposition, ahead of Tuolumne Meadows, who has been running well recently for a new trainer.
- Power Home
- Windsorlot
- Tuolumne Meadows
