Newcomer out of a 6f two-year old winner who herself was from a primarily middle distance family. Sire Mastercraftsman a noted stamina influence so likely she will want further.
4ÂĽ sixth to Revalue who will give a guide to the form in the opener on debut at Kempton. Pedigree suggests 1m to 1m2f likely her trip and fully expect her to take a step forward now.
Rip Van Winklw filly is a half-sister to two winners, one over 7f-1m and one over 6f. Trainer not prolific with two-year olds so others make more appeal.
Never worse than fourth in five attempts so far, last two over 7f. Shade disappointing when fourth as 5/4 fav at Catterick latest but softer ground than previously encountered there. Sets a decent standard although vulnerable to a newcomer.
Exceed and Excel newcomer is a half-sister to four winners including 7f Listed winner Come Alive, most of siblings were effective at around 1m. Represents top trainer (also runs Beautiful Artist) so more than interesting on debut.
Sixth of seven at Yarmouth on debut last week (50/1) and ran awkwardly and looked very green. Hard to fancy based on that run.
Dubawi newcomer is a half-sister to six winners including 7f two-year old Group One winner Termagent. Most of dam's progeny best at 7f-1m so trip looks ideal. Best pedigree on offer for top yard so must be considered on debut.
Dubawi filly out of dual Group-One winner Natagora was somewhat disappointing on debut at Kempton when a well beaten 11th of 13. Given time off since and improved effort expected.
40,000gns yearling by Bated Breath. Half-sister to four middle distance winners out of a dam who stayed 1m7f from a very stout family. Likely need much further and trainer without two-year old winner this season.
Forecasts
Beautiful Artist (3/1), Sary Arqa (4/1), Poetic Imagination (4/1), Perfect Thought (5/1), Shurooq (8/1), Agrotera (10/1), Worth Waiting (12/1), Classic Charm (16/1), Political Slot (33/1)
The experienced Perfect Thought sets a decent standard and ought to be winning a contest like this sooner rather than later but she is vulnerable to a newcomer or improving sort. Two newcomers appeal and SARY ARQA most so given her excellent pedigree so she is worth chancing over a distance which should be ideal. Also feared is Poetic Imagination who is the preferred of the Gosden duo.
- Sary Arqa
- Poetic Imagination
- Perfect Thought
