A rare Lingfield runner for this yard this winner of a maiden and minor event in France with a placed Listed effort in between has to be respected here. Yet to be tried over this far but has stamina in the pedigree and may well improve again.

A competitive and interesting Listed staying event for the ladies and there are a few in with a chance, some proven at this level and others stepping up from good handicap performances. The latter category is represented by Cribbs Causeway, Dance The Dream and Daphne and all three of those progressive fillies deserve to take their chance at this level. The pick would be the last named of the trio but it will be no surprise to see all of them acquit themselves well here. Val De Marne is a little bit of an unknown quantity especially at this trip but anything that Andre Fabre sends to these shores must be respected. MELODIC MOTION holds the best form though having been Group placed the last twice and certainly didn’t get the run of the race at Doncaster last time and she gets the vote here in a hot race.
