Better effort over C&D latest (won over a mile here in the past too) and dropped to a handy mark. But has struggled to find his level since joining his new yard and is becoming hard to predict. Thereabouts but not one to trust implicitly.
Relatively unexposed and posted a couple of decent efforts since joining his new yard. Jockey went close aboard the gelding when they teamed up over C&D last month and sound claims of a repeat dose if breaking sharply.
Returned from his summer break with a couple of modest efforts (bit to find with Lacan on latest run) and needs to up his game. Dual C&D winner but looks high enough in the weights just now.
Debut run for his current yard was promising but seemed to have reverted to type last time out. Plenty to prove on balance and others preferred.
Won a shade cosily at Lingfield in early October and has to be respected. Placed off this mark before now, so feasible she can go close again. Risky for win only though.
Handed a stiff looking rating during her time with Mark Johnston and already receiving respite before switching to her current yard. Possible the change of scenery will have rekindled her interest but the form in the book needs to be improved upon.
Acted well on the polytrack before now but has never won beyond 7f and last three starts have been poor. Return to Kempton may suit but big improvement still required.
Solitary win came over 7f at this course in September 2015 and is back on a handy mark. Early season form was regressive, however, and comes here with plenty to prove on his first start since May.
Very little impact in three maiden prior to this and lacks experience of this course. Gelded since his last run but needs a complete transformation to figure here.
Placed twice from 17 previous visits to this course (once over C&D) so effective on the surface. Off-putting that he's been off since June and leap of faith required in spite of the gelding being back on a handy mark.

Balgair (5/4), Spun Gold (7/2), Lacan (9/2), Wahiba (7/1), Dashing Poet (8/1), Mio Ragazzo (12/1), Music Major (14/1), Altiko Tommy (25/1), Shee's Lucky (33/1), Red Cossack (33/1), Runaiocht (50/1)
This may be with the capabilities of BALGAIR, who gets on well with today's pilot and, given that he's open to a bit more improvement, he can gain compensation for a couple of near misses since joining Tom Clover's yard. Lacan has been given a chance by the assessor and may be better of giving weight away these day. He's one to watch carefully in the betting. Dashing Poet has place claims on these terms, while Red Cossack could also give each-way punters a good run for their money at a fair price.
