Well backed before making an impressive debut at Kempton. Faces contrasting conditions here but sire gets his share of winners on an easy surface. Stable are in form.
130,000 gns son of Zoffany and half-brother to a winning miler. Stable's youngsters often come on for an initial run.
Arcano colt, cost 28,000 gns as a yearling. Finished last on two previous starts and impossible to fancy in this type of company.
Raven's Pass colt, cost 110,000 gns at Breeze-Ups. Half-brother to Group 2 winning juvenile Donjuan Triumphant. No show on Newmarket debut after missing the break from what proved to be a tricky draw.
Redoute's Choice colt, cost 75,000 gns as a yearling. One of the more backward runners and poorly drawn on debut when taking the eye. Sire's stock prefer quicker ground.
Improved for his debut over C&D when returning last time to be third, beaten just over 3L on heavy ground at 50-1. Will need a similar step forward to be winning this, but given the low market expectations last time, that is not ruled out.
First Defence half-brother to Sepal, a five time winner who handles cut in the ground. Would appear to be the owner's second string.
40.000 gns son of Casamento out of a dam who was placed in Italy. Yard would not have many ready for a debut in this type of company and he may be one for next year.
Related to a couple of dual-purpose winners out of a dam who was placed in bumpers. Should handle the ground but may find some of these too quick.
Has not shown enough on either start to suggest he has the ability to land a race of this nature.
Elusive Pimpernel half-brother to five winners. Stamina in the pedigree and sire's progeny don't mind give in the ground.
900,000 gns yearling by Dubawi out of a Group Three winning dam and related to soft ground winners.. Looked green on debut but will know more now and yard are having a good week with this age group.
Intello colt who cost €340,000 as a two-year-old. Made an inauspicious debut at Windsor but the yard's juveniles have looked in need of an initial run.
40-1 and a 5l runner-up to a hotpot on debut at Newmarket (1m, good to soft) last month, but had nearly 4L to spare over the third, who came out and won next time. Sire won on heavy. Could prove tough to beat.
57,000 gns son of Farrh and first foal of a 7f winning dam who is a sister to disqualified 1000 Guineas winner Jacqueline's Quest. Stable 4-13 with this age group here.
Exposed maiden whose BHA rating of 74 sets a modest standard for a race of this stature. Handles soft ground.

Blue Mist produced what the market predicted on his debut and it will be interesting to see the assessment of his chances on the expected slower surface. MILITARY LAW was an expensive purchase who was too backward to do himself justice on debut. His trainer's youngsters have been improving a great deal lately and this Derby entry is related to winners who handle this ground. Proschema would not have to improve much for his debut to make the frame at least.
