Three starts in novice company have not been particularly encouraging. Well beaten over 7f at this track last time and seems to have a tough mark for his handicap debut.
Well held in two novice events and a maiden, including over this trip at Chelmsford last time. Likely to do better now handicapping.
No real show on first three starts, but better on his nursery debut at this track when fourth over 7f. The extra furlong should suit and he is one of the more likely sorts having proved himself on this surface, First-time blinkers may also help.
Out of the frame on all six starts, including the last three in handicap company. Falling down the weights, but needs to find more.
Only a neck behind Secratario when fifth on his nursery debut, but is 1lb worse off. There should be little between the pair again over this longer trip.
Signs of ability in three novice events and now tries his luck in a handicap for the first time. Well worth a check in the betting.
Well held in three contests, including in selling company last time. First time in a nursery over a longer trip so both factors needs to have a positive effect.
Has already run three times and last two efforts suggest he is getting the hangs of things. Proven over this trip, having finished third at Redcar two starts ago, and looks a player on AW debut.
Second of five in a 6f claimer at Lingfield in July is her best effort so far, but she has been well beaten on her other five starts. Hopes rest on this greater stamina test proving beneficial.
Has cut little ice in 10 starts from 5f to 7f, the last four in handicap company. Behind Secratario and Kalakchee last time when failing to settle and looks to have plenty on her plate again.
Has failed to hit the frame in seven starts, but seemed to run slightly better when stepped up to this trip at Redcar last time. Has dropped to her lowest mark so far and is not out of it for her top Northern stable.
Three starts in novice and selling company have seen her fail to beat a single rival. Impossible to fancy on that evidence.

Forecasts
Progressive Jazz (5/2), Secratario (11/4), Ladycammyofclare (7/1), Roof Garden (7/1), Sauchiehall Street (8/1), Kalakchee (8/1), Shadow Seeker (10/1), Sapper (16/1), Roses In June (25/1), Miss Condi (25/1), Changing (33/1), Elusive Bird (50/1), Cranworth Phoenix (50/1), Sunset Flyer (50/1)
Not many of these set the pulse racing and it may prove best to concentrate on Progressive Jazz, Ladycammyofclare, Kalakchee and SECRATARIO, with the latter getting the vote after his good first run in a nursery and over a trip which ought to suit. Shadow Seeker and Sauchiehall Street are worth keeping an eye on as they start out on their nursery campaigns.
- Secratario
- Progressive Jazz
- Ladycammyofclare
