Stepped up on his debut second when winning over 5f at Beverley (good) in May. Runner-up and third placed horses have both won twice since and he is one to note despite the absence.
Unraced home-bred son of Big Bad Bob and a half-brother to three time winner Papa Luigi. Worth a check in the market on his racecourse debut.
Sent off a big price prior to finishing a good second over 6f at Yarmouth (good) when making his debut last week. One for the shortlist in this contest.
Finished runner-up in two starts on the AW since being gelded. Only previous start on soft ground came when finishing well beaten in a competitive nursery.
Placed twice from six starts including when beaten 1L over 5f at Sandown (good) last time out. Returning from a break today and one to note in this contest.
Best effort in three starts to date came when finishing 4L third over 5f at Sandown (heavy) in August. Return to soft ground should suit and interesting to see how he fares today.
Well beaten when making her debut over 5f at Bath (firm) back in May. Unraced since and probably best watched on this occasion.
Well held in two starts so far most recently over 6f at Newbury (good-to-soft) in July. Likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.
Fair effort when finishing fourth over 5f at Catterick (good) last time out. Untried on soft ground and it will be interesting to see how she fares today.
Well beaten at big prices in two maiden races so far with the most recent of those coming on the AW at Kempton earlier this month. Others make more appeal.
Signs of promise hwen finishing fourth on debut over 6f at Kempton last month but failed to build on that dropping to this trip subsequently. Probably best watched at present.

Forecasts
Lord Riddiford (7/4), Axe Cap (7/2), Iconic Knight (9/2), Elite Shadow (8/1), Ivy Leaguer (9/1), Sienna Says (10/1), Sovereign State (16/1), Big Brave Bob (25/1), Crikeyitswhykie (33/1), Cool Baby (40/1), Shamrock Emma (50/1), Choral Music (66/1), Jazzy Girl (100/1)
ELITE SHADOW made a promising debut when finishing runner-up at Yarmouth recently and he can go one better by taking this large field novice contest. The selection had a previous winner behind him on that occasion and can get the better of the penalised Lord Riddiford who hasn't been seen in action since the spring. Of the remainder Sovereign State's best effort came on heavy going and a return to a softer surface can see him claim third.
- Elite Shadow
- Lord Riddiford
- Sovereign State
