Two C&D wins on his CV and ran well to finish a close third at this track two starts ago. Not so good last time and has to bounce back in order to get involved.
Has stepped up in trip on last two starts and showed he stayed the distance when a close sixth at Wolverhampton. Has a realistic chance off 2lb lower.
Registered two C&D wins for Neil Mulholland last year, but had been off the track for the best part of a year when last of 11 on his first run for his current trainer. Should strip fitter, but is best watched until showing more.
Took a huge leap forward when bolting up over C&D on her latest start. Turned out under a penalty and looks the one to beat with further improvement on the cards.
Has a C&D victory to his name, but that was a long time ago and he was returning from a lengthy lay-off when finishing in mid-division at this track last time. Best watched on this occasion.
Showed some promise when trained by Michael Bell, but has generally struggled for his current stable. Others make much more appeal.
Landed a 1m2f handicap at Salisbury in July since when he has struggled off higher marks. Coming back down the handicap, but needs to regain his earlier form.
Only one win from 23 starts and that came on turf. Needs to find much more than in recent displays to be competitive on his return to the AW.
Boasts a consistent record without being able to get his head in front and is now 0-15. Ran well to be third at Chelmsford last time and has place claims again off the same mark.
Sowed arguably his best piece of form when a fast-finishing fourth over C&D last time, just behind Jersey Bull. Chance if able to build on that off 1lb lower.
Three of his nine victories have been achieved at this course and he showed enough at Nottingham last time to suggest he has another small race in him. On a career-low mark so it would be folly to dismiss him.
Ran a fair race over C&D in first-time cheekpieces two starts ago, but they are left off this time in favour of other headgear. Long time since he last won on the Flat and is vulnerable to progressive types.
Lightly-raced filly who seems to be improving as she steps up in trip. Shaped well over 1m2f last time and could do even better over this longer distance off the same mark.

Katabatika (5/6), Too Many Shots (5/1), Sir Jack (8/1), Jersey Bull (8/1), Garcon De Soleil (12/1), Lyrica's Lion (16/1), Bird For Life (16/1), Kaisan (16/1), Life Of Luxury (20/1), Vexillum (25/1), Rocky Elsom (25/1), Honourable Knight (33/1), Reality Show (50/1), Zarliman (50/1)
Jersey Bull likes it here and has to be respected despite top weight, while Garcon De Soleil was not far behind him last time and has claims again. The obvious one, though, is KATABATIKA, who bolted up over C&D last time and will surely make her presence felt again under a penalty. Bottom weight Bird For Life and stable companion Honourable Knight are also on the short list.
- Katabatika
- Bird For Life
- Jersey Bull
