Has won over the C&D before, out of form latest but drops in class now and that may help bring about a revival in fortunes.
Love it around here, winning previous two starts over C&D, only 3lb higher than most recent of those and rider's claim to help.
Has won four times at this track and rated 7lb lower than when gaining most recent win over the trip just over a year ago. Narrowly denied behind Buzz Lightyere in August, should be involved.
Produced the best race of his career last month to score over C&D on eighth start, up 3lb for the win and not the obvious sort to follow it up.
Won over the C&D in August last year, has been off since December and was below best when last spotted. Market can guide but may need the outing.
Was in considerably better form last year with previous trainer but form has tailed off since moving to his current yard and hard to make the case for at the moment.
Twice a winner on the AW, stumbled and lost chance at the start last time on turf at Salisbury in August, may still be a couple of pounds high in the ratings for win purposes.
Has won three of previous four starts, two of them coming over this C&D. 4lb higher than most recent success here but cannot be ruled out.
Doesn't seem particularly progressive and others look likelier types now she has had plenty of chance, unable to build on promise shown in maidens.
Very effective around here and confidence boosted by a C&D win on penultimate outing, hit the frame since off this revised mark and in the mix once again.
Finished second at Windsor on her only start as a juvenile, but has failed to step up on that in five outings this term. Still not fully exposed but has something to find.
One success from 14 came over 7f on the AW at Lingfield in March off a mark of 61. Has been toiling in four recent outings.
Is a four-time course winner but recent efforts much less inspiring. Beaten 11L over this trip when last here in July.
Left Andrew Balding after four modest efforts and has been much the same story for his current yard this season. Hard to see him having much of an impact in first-time visor having been well beaten over 7f last month.
Forecasts
Buskin River (7/2), Buzz Lightyere (11/2), Duke Of North (6/1), Wordismybond (7/1), Lovely Acclamation (9/1), Pick A Little (10/1), The Special One (10/1), With Approval (10/1), Gala Celebration (14/1), Welsh Inlet (20/1), Altiko Tommy (20/1), Characterized (25/1), Mr Andros (33/1), African Showgirl (33/1)
BUZZ LIGHTYERE tends to thrive at this venue and been in excellent form with three wins in his previous four starts, two over this C&D. He's just 3lb higher than the most recent of those and could be capable of adding to his tally. Pick A Little was just held by the selection here in August and ought to get involved again while Buskin River and The Special One have the form in the book to play their part.
- Buzz Lightyere
- Pick A Little
- The Special One
