His form so far over hurdles has proved fair and he was able to record a win over a small field at Market Rasen earlier in the year. A penalty for that win appeared to prove too much for him last time and that's likely to be the case again here.
His form so far is quite interesting with his French debut coming at the hands of a subsequent Grade 2 hurdles winner on soft at Enghien. Started 4/1 for his GB debut at Haydock in a decent race but unseated rider at the 5th; still of interest.
Makes his hurdles debut here having shown ability if inexperience in his two bumpers starts so far the first in difficult conditions. Has looked on both starts so far as if a longer trip would suit and is in good hands for his hurdling career.
Cost £60,000 after finishing third on his debut in an Irish point-to-point and has joined a yard that know what they are doing with young hurdlers. Certainly worth watching in the market given his connections on his hurdling debut.
Made just one start in point-to-points (finished runner-up) prior to showing ability in an Ascot bumper on his Rules debut (travelled well to a point). Hasn't really backed up that promise in two hurdles outings to date and something to prove now.
Cost €11,000 as a three-year-old with the unraced dam being related to some useful chasers. Beaten in seven maiden Irish point-to-points (fell late on last start) and looks to have a stiff task on Rules debut.
Now goes hurdling after winning on his bumper debut last April at Stratford (weak in the betting considering the yard's good bumper record) and the form has already been franked. Has to be of interest given those facts although the yard are not quite firing yet.
Yard are not known for their novice hurdle successes and this one looks to be one for the longer term having been a remote 4th on his only start in a bumper.
Second in a point-to-point and has shown himself to be have ability in bumpers since and placed twice before winning at Stratford last month making all. Put his experience to good use there and now goes hurdling over a longer trip.
Fair Flat performer (winner over 1m4f this summer twice) and showed some ability and promise on his hurdling debut although he did look rather inexperienced. Should step forward on that with the experience under his belt.
Won a bumper on his debut when with John Quinn and has gone close to breaking his maiden over hurdles on a few occasions (runner-up four times) for this yard. Ought to be capable at this level but has had plenty of chances.
Well held in bumpers and over hurdles showing little ability and would be a surprising and shock winner here.
Very much had the run of the race when scoring on her third run in bumpers having looked one for the longer term. Starts off over hurdles in what looks to be a warm race and best watched on her debut.

This looks to be a fairly deep and warm novice for the track and there are plenty of options with Thisonetime having had plenty of chances it may be best to looks elsewhere given his habit of getting placed rather than winning. The Detainee caught the eye last time out over hurdles and should put that initial experience to good use here while Gunfleet would be another to pop in the mix although both come from yard’s that aren’t quite firing at the moment. Admiral Barratry has a very interesting background and could well be better than he shows so far but Alan King’s runners in this sphere are always to be respected and he runs CHOSEN PATH here. His point-to-point run has worked out well and along with runners like Battle Of Ideas and The Black Squirrel make this a novice hurdle to note early in the season.
