Bounced back to form last time out putting a couple of lack-lustre displays behind him the fact that he was back on his last winning mark obviously a help. That was his best race for some time (beat an unexposed one) but he's not the most consistent sort.
Returns to a far more suitable trip after being tried over 1m2f last time and although he has been consistent this year he's struggling to build on his win in the spring. Slips back below his last winning mark but did look a little half-hearted last time.
Capable but quirky sort who took advantage of a reduced mark to win at Thirsk in May (suited by soft conditions). Tricky to catch right and that's proved the case since then although this big field scenario will suit him well in terms of a pace angle.
A good pace and testing conditions made up the scenario when he broke his maiden at Brighton last season. Has really only had one crack at a race with cut in the ground this year (handicap debut) and will be suited by conditions here.
His form this year has been good and although he failed to complete a hat-trick on his penultimate start he was soon back to form last time (trip did stretch him though). Now back to a bare mile which should suit and he should handle conditions well.
Starting to look well handicapped and now tried in a visor for the first time. His last two runs came rather quickly and although he handled conditions he did look a little laboured but cannot be written off here.
Given that his last run was just his second of the season and for this yard he's obviously not been easy to train but has shown that he could be better than his last run. Looked rusty last time (went in snatches) but looks capable off this mark.
C&D winner who always looks at home in testing conditions but struggled last time out in such ground back off a break when well beaten off this mark. His mark remains workable and conditions have come in his favour but still questions to answer.
Looked as though he might be useful when he was with William Haggas despite only winning a maiden but showing some solid handicap form. Offered nothing for his new yard after a break though and can only be watched for now.
Certainly showed his best form on his last start and made it two wins from his last four starts since being switched to handicaps. Another step forward is needed now but he's still not fully exposed and if he can handle conditions he's in the mix here.
Ought to know his way around here having won six races here (five-time C&D winner) with his last win coming here off 1lb lower mark. Ridden almost exclusively by this inexperienced rider this year and would benefit from stronger handling.

Plenty with chances here on their best form although not that many look as though they have particularly solid credentials. COLIBRI is a horse who needs give underfoot to be seen at his best and he’s likely to get plenty here and with cheekpieces on for the first time he’s given the suggested selection here. Both the Dods horses Le Chat D’Or and Finn Class should enjoy the big field and the likely decent pace although neither are the most consistent types. Magic City is back at his best trip and can be expected to make an impression with Fastar in the mix if he can find some further improvement. My Amigo looked as though the run would bring him on last time he’s not had many chances in handicap company and could take a step forward here having only been lightly raced this year.
