Still a maiden although he did run well in a big field Redcar handicap last time and has shown that he can handle easy ground before. May find that something will fall his way in handicaps but may be vulnerable in this sphere.
Doesn't look good enough for maidens and with a handicap mark in the mid 70's he isn't easy to place really. Would need to show more than he has so far to be of interest here even in this fairly lowly grade.
Finished in the runner-up slot on debut in France but failed to build on that run in two maidens in the same country and sold out of Andre Fabre's yard for €11,000. Gelded since and makes his debut for this yard; worth a look in the betting.
Might not be totally straightforward and looks to have a dose of seconditis and certainly failed to convince with her attitude last time (flashed tail in the finish) Comes back a furlong here and has found a good opening but not one to take a short price about.
Stable have been going well of late and it will be no surprise to see this one take a step forward from her debut having run to a fair level first time up. Normal progress would see her competitive and this isn't a tough maiden at all.
This will be just her third start and she's already onto her third trainer but looks of little account and sure to be one of the outsiders here.

Forecasts
Ambrosia (8/11), Old China (10/3), Guiding Passion (8/1), Ember's Glow (9/1), Vive La Difference (10/1), Malham Cove (100/1), Kirkby's Phantom (250/1)
The obvious one here is Ambrosia but she’s traded at short odds-on in-running on her last three start and been beaten each time and although this is a weak race she comes with some baggage here and isn’t to be trusted. Old China looks vulnerable and would have a better chance in handicaps once the handicapper relents with Vive La Difference looking worth a check in the betting a repeat of his debut run in France would be good enough here. In the end though a chance is taken with GUIDING PASSION who should improve from her debut run and comes from a yard in good form at the moment.
- Guiding Passion
- Ambrosia
- Vive La Difference
