Has run fair races the last twice off a similar mark in more competitive nurseries, and still seems to be progressing with each run. Needs another step forward but this seems a suitable assignment and her apprentice jockey claims a useful 5lb.
Only tame effort in three maiden/novice events so far, not the easiest task here given his opening mark but should be open to improvement now handicapping though he should improve for further in time.
Has run some nice races behind some useful types up to now without managing to get her head in front; career best needed now but she has managed to show more than most of these.
Goes off the same mark as when finishing behind Couldn't Could She at Kempton last time. Has to reverse that form back down in trip, and has been well beaten on each attempt at a trip this short so far.
Good effort on handicap debut at Kempton last time over a furlong further than this; down 1lb now and a bold bid can be anticipated in first time cheek pieces for what seems to be a weaker race.
Returns to turf for the first time since his debut; failed to figure in each of his starts so far and has plenty to prove down only 3lb from a poor display last time out.
Hasn't shown enough to suggest he would be capable of winning a contest of this nature, though this does seem to be a weaker assignment than some of his recent races.
Forecasts
Give Em A Clump (9/4), Rio Santos (5/2), Couldn't Could She (10/3), Inuk (7/1), Dark Freedom (8/1), Kheleyf's Girl (9/1), Bullseye Bullet (18/1)
This can go to INUK. Richard Hughes' filly wears cheek pieces for the first time and attempts to build on a promising handicap debut at Kempton last time out. She drops down in trip by a furlong which shouldn't be an issue, and seems broadly progressive. It would be no surprise to see her get her head in front for the first time ahead of Kheleyf's Girl, whose form reads better than most of those in this field, and Couldn't Could She, who has outrun big odds the last twice.
- Inuk
- Couldn't Could She
- Kheleyf's Girl
