Dalakhani colt, cost 35,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to two winners and dam a half-sister to Group 3 winner Blue Monday. Nice debut when shaping as if he would appreciate this step up in trip and should improve again; sets a solid standard.

Maxios colt, dam a full-sister to Group 3 winner/US Grade 2 winner Aviate and 7f two-year-old Group 3 winner Early March. Yard in good form in recent weeks and market likely to reveal expectations on debut.

Sir Prancealot gelding, cost €42,000 as a yearling and half-brother to five winners. Probably not a good sign he's already gone through a gelding operation and first-time blinkers worn for debut.

Kitten's Joy colt, dam a winner over a mile and half-sister to 1m1f US Grade 1 winner Alwajeeha. Respectable debut at Newmarket where he never recovered from a slow start. Should do better and trainer/jockey have a 29.41% strike-rate when combining.

French Fifteen colt, dam a winner over this trip and half-sister to two French AW winners. Trainer's debutantes usually need the run and yard have been a little quiet of late; looks opposable.

Lawman colt, half-brother to several winners including Listed place Gemina. Yard enjoying a good season with their juveniles and debutantes are often ready to go at the first time of asking; could run well.

Whipper colt, cost €41,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to two-year-old Listed winner Willie The Whipper and half-brother to five winners. Dam a half-brother to Group 2 winner Ascpectus. Nice enough pedigree and any market support should be noted.

Makfi gelding, well beaten on all three starts and didn't improve for a gelding operation when last seen at Ffos Las. Likely to do better when switched to handicaps.

Sir Percy colt, full-brother to winners Royal Warranty and Munstead Star. Dam a useful stayer and half-sister to Listed winner Prince Of India. Pedigree largely suggests he'll be better over a longer trip and probably best watched on debut.

Big Bad Bob colt, cost €120,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to six winners including soft ground Group 1 winner Reliable Man, Listed winner Gale Force and dam a Listed winner. May want a bit further but beautifully bred and warrants respect.

Azamour gelding, cost 5,500 gns as a foal and 10,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Group-placed Dubai Builder and dam a useful sprinter. Not a good sign he's gelded and others arrive with fancier pedigrees. Jockey has a good strike-rate here.

Arcano colt, cost €2,000 as a yearling and £21,000 as a Breeze-Up purchase. Improved from his debut at Chepstow when third of nine at Leicester last time out but more needed in a deeper contest here.

Sixties Icon colt, full-brother to winners Yorkshire Icon and Amahoro and half-brother to more winners around this trip. Well beaten on debut but trainer's runners often need first run and yard have been in good form with their juveniles this year.

Verdict

Alternative Fact will be hard to beat if he takes a step forward from his debut effort at Newmarket but there's plenty to like about RASHDAN's pedigree and he's taken to get off the mark on debut. Deyaarna should put his experience to good use after finishing off his race well on debut while any market support for Jackfinbar should be noted.
