Both his wins have been on the stiff Pontefract track and his powers have recently been on the wane. However, now 8lb lower than when going close at Redcar in April and not ruled out if in that mood.
His last turf win was in 2013, though he has twice won over this trip at Southwell this year. 1lb higher today than when beaten just a nose at Windsor (6f, good) in May and returning from a break, his record suggests that he might just need this.
Sole turf success was over 1m2f (good) from 6lb higher, but he was beaten just 1L over this trip at Haydock last month. Could have a big say on his second start for this in-form trainer.
Placed in all his first three starts for Owen Burrows (5f), but flopped last time at Bath and has since joined this stable. Handicap debut today from what looks a fair mark and if he can put that last effort behind him then he couldn't be ruled out.
Yet to win on turf, where he has struggle to make any impact in maidens or handicaps. Beaten over 15L from this mark at Goodwood last time and not easy to see him figuring even though he is dropped in grade.
Has won on a sound surface, though would ideally prefer some rain. Has put together some competitive efforts from higher marks of late and the handicapper remains reluctant to drop him, so he is likely to find a few too good again this time.
0-13 so far and it is almost a year since he was good enough to make the frame. Well held in all starts this season and slipping in the weights now. Drops 6lb going into this, but not easy to fancy on what we have been seeing of late.
Has run well here in defeat, though Brighton, Lingfield and Windsor have proved more fruitful venues for him. Back on the same mark as when scoring at Brighton (6f, good) in May but out of sorts lately and a bit to prove.
Has won no both soft ground as well as good to firm, as was the case at Lingfield (5f) in June. Has gone very close from today's mark since then, but tends to find one or two too good and no obvious reason why that will change today.
Yet to win on turf (0-17) and hasn't won at all since December 2015 despite plenty of races. His Haydock run two starts ago shows that he can get competitive from this sort of mark, though consistency is not his strong suit.
0-18 and she can consider herself a little unlucky that, having finished a 2L third (Goodwood, 6f, good) last time, she has been pushed up 6lb in the handicap. Likely to find this too tough as a result.

Amood (6/4), Topology (9/2), Grandad's World (6/1), Bella Alissa (6/1), Flowing Clarets (7/1), Bonjour Steve (8/1), Red Stripes (12/1), Flying Sakhee (20/1), Kowaiyess (25/1), Viva Verglas (25/1), Blue Rocks (25/1), Bridge Builder (33/1), Sandacres (33/1), Perfect Pastime (50/1)
Unlikely to be a race that will live long in the memory but the suggestion is AMOOD, who ran well at Haydock last month and whose talented trainer may have the key to him after having had a sighter last time. Grandad's World is on the sort of mark that could make him a danger, though he clearly carries risks, and Kowaiyess could make an impact if putting his last run to bed. Bella Alissa is not one to give up on after one poor run, while Blue Rocks has each-way claims if putting his best foot forward.
