In the form of her life and has won or made the frame in his last five starts. 6lb penalty means the filly needs to post another personal best. But she is worth considering if the market suggests she is capable of coping with top weight.
Has won from higher marks in the past but recent form suggests the handicapper is in charge at the present time. Others make more appeal.
Won this last year from just a 3lb lower mark, so feasible he can go close if he gets the breaks in running. Been in good heart of late and hard to discount.
Mixed it under both codes but form on the Flat is nothing out of the ordinary and she makes limited appeal from a punting perspective on this occasion.
Regular in races of this nature but just one win from 33 previous races tells its own story. Holds solid place claims at best but is too unreliable for win only purposes.
Unexposed and looked very leniently treated when winning off a mark of 48 on her penultimate start. However, a 10lb rise for that effort seemed to find her out latest and others now make more appeal.
Two wins at Kempton to his name but form on turf on the Flat is poor and lacks appeal even at this modest level. Should get the trip but others are more appealing.
Capable in a low grade but posted a poor effort on his first start on the Flat for almost two years and has plenty to prove just now if that is a true reflection of the ability he retains for racing on the level.
Lightly raced and very possible she has more to offer. The form her latest start has been boosted and sound claims if she copes with the switch to racing on turf. Well worth noting in the betting.
In good form at a low level. But this is a bit tougher than the race she won at Nottingham in June but she is just 2lb higher and, with her rider taking a further 3lb off with his claim, the filly is no forlorn hope of making the frame at least.
Beat just one rival home in his first start since 2015 here last month - an effort that hardly bodes well for success here. Best left alone from out of the weights.
Gone close here in the past but does nothing quickly and very likely he will find this a tough test from 1lb out of the handicap.
All bar four of her 29 previous races have taken place on the AW and this mare makes very limited appeal to spring a surprise on these terms.

Forecasts
Hope Is High (8/11), Penny Poet (8/1), Captain George (8/1), Powered (10/1), Quay Point (12/1), Wassail (14/1), Ivanhoe (16/1), Briac (20/1), Meetings Man (20/1), Ayla's Emperor (22/1), Vexillum (25/1), Sir Dylan (25/1), Shot In The Dark (50/1), Fleetwood Poppy (50/1)
CAPTAIN GEORGE is just 3llb higher in the weights than when he won this last year and has fewer questions to answer than the majority of his rivals. The gelding gets a tentative nomination ahead of Hope Is High and Penny Poet , who make the most appeal from the very modest bunch drawn together as opposition.

- Hope Is High
