Possibly didn't stay 1m4f at Thirsk last time out but looked effective over this trip prior to that. 3lb higher than his sole winning handicap mark to date, but was progressive prior to that and could have more to offer.
Not disgraced in maidens and also has run some solid races since switching to handicap company. Best performances to date have come on the all-weather and he has something to prove on turf, but not discounted here.
Didn't really impress in maidens, and has yet to finish in front of a rival in two attempts at handicaps. Down 3lb now but that seems unlikely to be enough with first time blinkers needing to work wonders.
Hasn't gotten properly involved in two attempts at this trip yet and seems to still be too high in the handicap to land a blow; interesting to see how she does with a new trainer after a short break.
Has been running okay over shorter on the all-weather recently, but stamina remains in doubt returning to this trip, and he he has plenty to prove in the conditions.
Hasn't shown much since switching to handicaps having hinted at ability in maidens. Mark is quickly going down as a result but difficult to fancy based on what he has shown to date, with this trip not certain to be his optimum.
Has looked inconsistent up to now, having run poorly at Newcastle last time out on the back of a couple of more encouraging efforts. Blinkers on now many help his concentration but on balance he is best watched.
Third over C&D last time out having run well at this course in the past. On a sounder surface now but has looke progressive and raised only a 1lb a bold bid is expected if she acts on this ground
Best performance to date by some distance came on her only attempt at a handicap to date, and she races off the same mark here. Didn't enjoy the run of the race that day and a recent poor showing in a seller is best ignored.
Finished down the field in four attempts at maidens and difficult to fancy on handicap debut even going off a featherweight with an apprentice jockey claiming 7lb.
Went very close on handicap debut at Lingfield last time and steps up in trip now. Stamina to prove but last run was very encouraging and up only 2lb she could prove favourably treated off her current mark.

This is an open-looking handicap where only a few can be discounted out of hand. ROCKSETTE impressed on handicap debut at this course last time out and steps up in trip here having been raised only 2lb by the assessor. She does have to prove she stays this far, as this is her first attempt at over a mile, but being by Mount Nelson it shouldn't be an issue for her and she could prove to be a fair bit better than her current mark. Beatsia seems progressive and caught the eye at Salisbury last time and is preferred next, ahead of Venetian Proposal, who should go close if acting on the ground.
