Has shown a huge improvement since stepping up to 1m this summer, winning on soft ground at Yarmouth before following up with two emphatic wins on quicker ground. Raised a further 9lb as he steps up in trip but couldn't be in better heart.
Just the two wins from 26 starts and hasn't had his head in front since scoring at Windsor last May (1m, good). Remains on a tough mark despite a losing run of 14 and soft ground probably not ideal.
Experienced performer who has few secrets from the handicapper and is on a current losing run of 15. Had been knocking at the door off this sort of mark prior to throwing in a poor effort at Leicester latest, so hard to rule out.
Won twice over further than this last season but has lacked consistency since, finding little over an extended 1m3f at Lingfield (good to soft) last time. Potentially well-treated if putting his best foot forward though and jockey booking is a positive.
Five-time scorer on the AW but just one win from 26 on turf. Not for the first time, he spoilt his chance with a sluggish exit at Epsom last time but had earlier gone close at Sandown (1m2f, good to soft). A threat if it all comes together.
Lost his maiden tag with a win on the AW over 1m at Lingfield in February but has crept up in the weights without winning since. Yet to prove himself on turf and questions to answer stepping up in trip.
Hasn't looked the most straightforward of types so far but signs of improvement stepping up to this 1m2f trip at Chelmsford last time, finishing a 2l second behind Seaborn. Still has to prove himself on turf.
Forecasts
Swilly Sunset (9/4), Ghinia (11/4), Outback Blue (11/2), Ourmullion (13/2), Hard Toffee (8/1), The Gay Cavalier (12/1), Broughtons Story (12/1)
The progressive Swilly Sunset has proved unstoppable of late and, with this step up in trip likely to be in his favour, there is every chance he could defy a 9lb rise and complete a superb four-timer. However, at the likely cramped odds, a case could be put forward for taking him on with Ghinia and HARD TOFFEE viable alternatives, particularly the latter who is 2-3 under Jim Crowley.
