Produced a better effort when dropped in grade last time and he should be more effective over this trip. C&D winner off 2lb higher in December and has a good 5lb claimer in the saddle, but he needs to overcome a poor draw.
Record stands at 1-23 and now tackles 6f for the first time. Has not seen out 5f recently so that has to be a worry.
Poor since a Kempton victory in March. Blinkers are retained and chances hinge on switch back to sprinting on an AW surface making enough of a difference off a more generous mark.
Remains a maiden after 12 starts and now tries her hand at sprinting. Looks well treated on her best form, but hard to see why she should produce it at this trip even with first-time cheekpieces.
Improved for the switch to sprinting last time when third in a minor Yarmouth maiden 83 days ago. The runner-up has won since and the fourth has gone close in a handicap. Stable 4-18 in last fortnight and one to note in the market.
Sprang a surprise here in April and 2lb higher in the weights now. Has a good draw and last two run prove that win was no fluke. Looks shortlist material.
Made all to open her account at the 30th time of asking. Up 3lb for that and should be thereabouts on a track where she has gone well previously. Overall profile casts doubt she can follow up though.
Quite a useful sprinter on his best form, winning five times in 38 career starts, but his losing run continues to stretch and now stands at ten. Showed signs of temperament last time and he looks too risky to recommend for now.
Sole win in 24 starts came over C&D. Produced his best effort in a while for this up and coming rider last time and they have valid claims from a good draw off a slipping mark.

Forecasts
See You Mush (9/4), Ashwaq (7/2), Wild Flower (7/1), Firesnake (8/1), Higgy's Heartbeat (8/1), Run With Pride (8/1), Singing Sands (9/1), Entertaining Ben (10/1), Billyoakes (12/1), Noble Act (20/1), Classic Flyer (25/1), Big City Boy (25/1), Humour (25/1)
Billyoakes seems to have found his level but a tricky draw makes him hard to fancy with other strong contenders more favourably positioned. See You Mush and Firesnake would come into that category on their C&D winning form, but the vote goes to HIGGY's HEARTBEAT. A drop to sprint distances produced an improved display last time. A break since raises a little doubt, but the form of that latest run gives him an excellent chance from this mark and the risk is worth taking.
- Higgy's Heartbeat
- See You Mush
- Firesnake
