Horse A-Z
Dansili colt who was sold for 150,000gns as a yearling. Well-related sort but seems like he will appreciate further than this over time.
Archipenko colt who was sold for £25,000 as a yearling. This trip should suit him based on pedigree and his connections are respected, so a market check is advised for this debut.

Ran a nice race on debut at Newbury last time out when finishing third (6f, soft), when he may not have had the race run to suit. Should be capable of progress on this second start and holds leading claims.
Finsceal Fior gelding who cost €11,000 as a yearling. Trainer only 2/39 with juveniles in the past five seasons and seems best watched on debut.

Dansili colt, the first foal of a Grade 3 winner in the US. The market should prove informative as to his chance for this debut.

Improved from his first to second runs, when finishing fourth at Newmarket (7f, good to firm). Another step up needed here but is clearly going in the right direction.

Mastercraftsman colt who was sold for 10,000gns as a yearling. Interesting pedigree but seems an unlikely winner on debut, all things considered.

Always towards the back end of affairs on debut at Sandown last time and needs to take a massive step forward from that in order to figure here.

Not beaten far in a tight finish on debut at Windsor last time out (6f, good to firm). Extra furlong shouldn't be an issue and may have more to offer now with the experience of a run.

Big Bad Bob filly who wasn't sold as a yearling.. This distance looks likely to be a bare minimum for her based on pedigree, and shes goes for a trainer who doesn't have the best record with juveniles.

Forecasts

Bullingdon (9/4), Kitaabaat (4/1), Magnificent (9/2), Archie Mckellar (9/2), Antagonist (8/1), Yorbelucky (9/1), Masters Apprentice (25/1), Matewan (33/1), Connaught Ranger (50/1), Happy Ending (66/1)

Verdict

As with the first division of this race it's difficult to gauge the chances of many of these due to their lack of racecourse experience, but the tentative pick is BULLINGDON. Richard Hannon's colt ran a nice race on debut, and should be able to learn from that experience to put in a more accomplished display here, where he'll have to see off the likes of Magnificent, who has already shown he can improve in between runs, and Antagonist, who has a nice pedigree but will probably want further in time.
  1. Bullingdon
  2. Magnificent
  3. Antagonist
