C&D winner who won well at Leicester last week. Carries a 6lb penalty but due to go up a further 2lb in future races, and should be capable of doubling up here if arriving in the same form.
Winner of a Salisbury handicap last year off a similar mark to this (1m2f, good to firm), but needs to bounce back from some disappointing efforts, including when finishing last of all last time out, also at Salisbury.
Returns to the turf for the first time since only her fourth run, but has run some fair races on the all-weather since. Only 2lb higher than when finishing second last time, the same mark off which she won in December, and she should prove competitive if handling this switching back to grass.
0/9 in her career and would appear to have little chance on the basis of her performance at Chelmsford last time out when she only managed to beat one horse home. Much more needed now down 2lb.
Ran a couple of nice races last year without ever threatening to get off the mark, not quite so good this year for a new yard and probably set for another minor role here.
Making her first racecourse appearance since January last year, and has plenty to prove even on her form prior to that absence, and before taking into consideration the possible negative effects of the lay-off.
Has done the majority of his winning over shorter than this but has also shown he can stay this trip in the past; not in bad form of late but needs to show more, as he has in the past, before being closely considered.
Winner of a Gowran maiden when trained by Joseph O'Brien, but hasn't been able to build on that since for this trainer, and was beaten 8L at odds of 50/1 in a similar race to this at Nottingham last time out.
Back down to his last (and to date only) winning handicap mark now, and though he hasn't seemed quite in the necessary form to win a race of this nature recently, it's possible that first time blinkers could bring about some further improvement.
Ran very well at a big price at Lingfield last time (1m2f, good to firm), having struggled to get involved in four all-weather races up to that point. Possible that he is simply much more effective on grass and interesting to see how he gets on here off the same mark.
Failed to land a blow in any of her three maidens, and is difficult to fancy off the back of those runs making her handicap debut here, and wearing a first time visor.
Beaten 12½L and 30L in his two handicaps so far. Back down in trip having not see out 1m6f last time, but still has plenty to prove off a mark that still looks too high by a considerable margin.
Remains a maiden after 10 attempts and doesn't seem to be finding more as his handicap mark gradually collapses. No obvious reason why this step up in trip should help.

Tyrsal (5/2), Broughtons Admiral (10/3), Zamadance (7/2), Retribution (5/1), Outlaw Torn (10/1), Justice Frederick (12/1), Mirimar (14/1), Midnight Mood (16/1), Sunshineandbubbles (22/1), Dor's Law (25/1), Our Kim (25/1), Lady Nahema (28/1), Navajo Storm (33/1), Ripper Street (50/1), Pushjockeypush (50/1), Book Of Dust (50/1)
If turning up in the same form as he did at Leicester seven days ago, then TYRSAL is the obvious option here. Clifford Lines' gelding lost his way for a time at the end of last year but has been back in form so far this season, and won impressively last week and, with an 8lb increase from that run due for his future races, is therefore well-in under a 6lb penalty. He can get the better of Retribution, who made a promising start to his handicap career at Lingfield last time out, and Broughtons Admiral, who improved for his first run on turf last time out.
- Tyrsal
- Retribution
- Broughtons Admiral
