Fair debut effort but failed to build on that in two subsequent maiden starts. Not beaten far when fifth of seven on handicap debut over 1m1f at Tipperary (good) last month.
Best effort so far came when second in a first time tongue tie over 1m2f at Navan (good-to-firm) in a claiming contest last time. Interesting runner dropping back in trip for his handicap debut today.
Winner over this distance on good ground at Navan last month and put a disappointing Bellewstown effort behind her when runner-up at Hamilton (good-to-soft) over an extended 1m two weeks ago. Represents a stable with a 22% strike-rate recently (13/60).
Successful on her penultimate outing at Bellewstown (good) earlier this month. Finished a well beaten fourth at Killarney (yielding-to-soft) off this mark last time out but remains of interest here.
Finished 2L third off this mark over C&D on good ground last month but disappointed at Gowran Park over an extended 1m1f on good ground subsequently.
Finished fourth twice from three starts in maidens including at The Curragh on good ground last month. Well held at Dundalk last time and draw could have been kinder for his handicap debut.
Well beaten in three starts so far and wore a visor (retained) when beaten 23L at Dundalk over 1m last time. Making her handicap debut in this contest.
Unplaced in all six starts so far including the last twice in handicap company. Beaten 20L in first time cheekpieces (retained) over an extended 6f last time and probably best watched today.
Making her debut for this yard when well beaten in a hood (retained today) over 7f at Naas (good-to-firm) last month. Worth a check in the market on handicap debut.
Best effort in eight starts came when finishing fourth of ten over 7f at Dundalk on the AW last time out. Races off a 3lb lower mark today but more needed if he's to take this.
Placed once from eight starts so far. Well held in handicaps the last three times and poorly drawn in this contest.
Well held in three maiden races this spring and a similar result when tenth of 13 over 7f here on good-to-yielding ground on handicap debut last week.
Fair effort when 12½L third of 14 over 7f at Limerick (soft) last October and highly tried in a Listed contest next time. Well beaten at Bellewstown (good) on handicap debut earlier this month and more needed today.
Well beaten on first two starts in maiden company and slightly better when sixth dropped to this distance at Naas (yielding) last time. Making her handicap debut today.
Placed twice from ten starts so far including when beaten 8L into third over 1m at Killarney (yielding-to-soft) earlier this month. Races off the same mark here and likely to run his race once more.
Placed once from 12 starts so far. That effort came over 6f at Dundalk when wearing blinkers for the first time in April. Fair fifth next time but last of ten back at Dundalk over 7f last time out. More needed to take this.
Finished a close third over an extended 1m on good-to-firm ground at Cork last month. Well beaten upped 1f in trip at Gowran Park last time out and return to 1m should suit.
Failed to trouble the judge in five starts so far. Two most recent efforts have come in handicap company including over 7f at Gowran Park (yielding) last weekend. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Unplaced in all eight starts so far but a better effort last time when fifth of nine on good-to-firm ground over C&D last month. Races off a 2lb lower mark today and wears cheekpieces for the first time.
12 race maiden but ran well stepped up to an extended 1m1f at Gowran Park (good) at the start of the month. Finished third of 15 on that occasion though drop in trip isn't certain to suit.
Forecasts
Nimitz (6/1), Sweetasever (7/1), Maison Bleu (7/1), Cloudy Miss (8/1), Gloves On (8/1), Blue Book (9/1), Milish (11/1), Magwadiri (12/1), Cascar Cavcha (14/1), Boy Charlton (16/1), Jills Back (16/1), One Liner (16/1), Discovery Lad (16/1), Olly's Folly (20/1), Shawami (25/1), Galuminous (33/1), Pedisnap (33/1), Rooney O'mara (33/1), Soft Kiss (33/1), Casuist (50/1)
SWEETASEVER returned to form when finishing runner-up at Hamilton last time out and Joseph O'Brien's charge can register her third career success off a mark 6lb higher than for her Navan victory last month. The selection finished well beaten behind Cloudy Miss at Bellewstown earlier this month and Michael Halford's filly, fourth last time out at Killarney is taken to finish second here ahead of Magwadiri who ran a decent race off this mark at the same track last time.
- Sweetasever
- Cloudy Miss
- Magwadiri
