Made a strong impression on debut when a ready winner of a similar 6f contest at Windsor in May (good to soft), but since unable to cope with the step up in trip and grade in the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. Penalty to carry on this recovery mission, but much respected.
Unraced Raven's Pass colt who cost 38,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to 7f juvenile winner Ava Star with stamina present on his unraced dam's side (Star Of The West).
Unraced Casamento colt out of She's A Character. Second foal who cost £38,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to Jumping Jack.
Built upon his staying on third on debut at Beverley in May when always to the fore and a proving head too good for Chatburn at Redcar (6f good to firm) three weeks later. That race has worked out well with the runner up, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh all successful since. Holds an entry in the Super Sprint Stakes on July 22nd.
Unraced Havana Gold colt who cost €50,000 as a yearling (15,000 gns foal). 12th foal, but a half-brother to five winners including the classy stayer Unsung Heroine.
Always in rear and never competitive when last of ten on debut at Windsor (6f good to soft) earlier this month. No reason to expect an improved effort.
Havana Gold colt who cost £30,000 as a yearling but has struggled in three starts to date and needs to produce a vastly improved effort in the first time cheek-pieces.
Unraced colt by Choisir out of Petit Chou (a 1m AW winner). Third foal who cost 14,000 gns as a yearling, but in truth this looks a competitive contest in which to be starting off.
Fairly well held despite finishing third to Royal Household on debut at Goodwood (6f good) last month. This son of Red Jazz should draw benefit from that experience but might be the type to do better in nurseries.
Beaten ½L by Shazzab on debut at Leicester in June (6f good to soft), but turned over at odds of 10/11f on the Polytrack at Chelmsford on his next start. This looks tougher and strictly held by Luiz Fernandez on a line through Shazzab.
€14,000 first foal juvenile by Thewayyouare out of Pink Sapphire. Pitched in deep enough on debut and looks more of a future prospect than a possible first time out winner.
Unraced son of Bahamian Bounty out of a 7f AW winner (My Amalie). Sixth foal who was inexpensive, but is a half-brother to 5f-6f winner Hadaj. Others look likely to be far stronger and sharper.
Unraced Lord Shanakill colt who cost just €2,000 as a foal (€5,000 yearling). Brother to middle distance stayer/winning hurdler All My Love and likely to need much further with this stable not known for producing winning juveniles.
Rear division finishes on both starts to date and no reason whatsoever to expect any better this evening.

Optimum Time carries a winners penalty, but faces a much more realistic assignment than in the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, and is one of a few runners to have the benefit of experience against some likely rather late maturing types. LUIZ FERNANDEZ is another with experience, and was probably denied the opportunity to aim higher after his Redcar success due to the enforced stable shutdown for Kevin Ryan. Whilst that was a narrow victory, the race has worked out well and the form is rock-solid, and he presumably makes the journey South from Yorkshire in order to gain valuable course experience prior to the Super Sales Sprint later in July.
