Havana Gold filly and finished well held last of 12 over 6f at Leicester (good-to-firm) on debut last month. Others have a more obvious chance here.
Beaten 10L when making her debut over 5f at Lingfield (good-to-firm) a fortnight ago. Likely to have improved for the experience but probably best watched here.
Finished 6L second to subsequent impressive Group 2 winner Heartache at Bath (firm) in May but disappointed as favourite on the AW at Wolverhampton last week. Likely to prove hard to beat if repeating that debut effort.
Unraced daughter of Fast Company cost 70,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to useful sprinter Hay Chewed and rates an interesting contender on her debut for a good yard.
Held on both starts so far including when 5L fifth of 12 at Lingfield (good-to-firm) over this distance two weeks ago. Needs to step up on what she's shown so far to take this.
Well beaten when finishing fourth of eight over 6f at Yarmouth (good) on debut early last month. Needs to step up markedly on that to figure today.
Well beaten in both starts here so far including over 5f on good-to-firm ground a fortnight ago. Others make more appeal today.
Unraced daughter of Swiss Spirit purchased for 30,000 gns as a yearling last October. Half-sister to a winning sprinter and worth a check in the market on debut.
Unraced daughter of Havan Gold cost €40,000 as a yearling last year. Yard in good form with a 23% strike-rate (8/23) recently and one to note in the betting here.
Unraced home-bred daughter of Pastoral Pursuits out of a mare who was successful eight times over sprint distances. Probably best watched on debut.
Beaten 6L when finishing fifth of eight on debut over 5f at Nottingham (good-to-firm) in May. Disappointing at Lingfield over 6f on the AW last time out and wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Unraced home-bred daughter of Bated Breath and a half-sister to placed sprinter Shimmering Sands. Market likely to provide the best guide as to expectations on debut.
Unraced daughter of Footstepsinthesand ahd a half-sister to winners Plant Pot Power and War Whisper. Probably best watched on her debut in this.
Unraced Finjaan filly and related to a couple of winning sprinters. Probably best watched on her racecourse debut in this contest.
Finished 8L fifth of eight over 6f at Chepstow (good-to-firm) on her racecourse debut last month. Interesting to see how she fares with that experience behind her.
Shaped as if this drop in trip would suit when finishing eight of 12 over 6f at Lingfield on the AW on her racecourse debut last month. May surprise a few better fancied rivals here.
Forecasts
Fab (7/2), That's My Girl (5/1), Smooth Sailing (5/1), Flying Sparkle (11/2), Hunni (9/1), Misty Spirit (10/1), Dusty (12/1), Jan's Joy (14/1), Silver Bullet (16/1), Polly's Gold (25/1), Bucks Frizz (50/1), Spix's Macaw (66/1), Watch Tan (80/1), Raise A Little Joy (80/1), Tea Rattle (100/1), Lastoneforthecraic (100/1)
FAB disappointed on the AW last time out but can go one better than when finishing runner-up at Bath on her debut the time before by taking this opening two-year-old fillies event. The unraced Flying Sparkle is related to a useful sprinter in Hay Chewed and can claim second for a yard who have had a couple of juvenile winners already this season while That's My Girl can step up on her debut effort by claiming third today.
- Fab
- Flying Sparkle
