Off the mark at Brighton on his second outing on good-to-soft ground over an extended 5f last month and a fair effort in a Group 2 contest at Royal Ascot subsequently. Return to the forecast softer surface is likely to suit.
Well beaten in two maiden races so far including when last of six at Haydock (soft) last month. Likely to struggle once more.
Best effort so far came when finishing runner-up at Leicester (good-to-soft) on his penultimate outing over 5f. Beaten 3L at Windsor (good-to-firm) subsequently and interesting in this.
Ran well when finishing runner-up over 6f here in May (good-to-firm) and followed that up with a good fourth at York in similar conditions. Drops in trip today and likely to run well once more.
Stepped up on his debut at Doncaster (good-to-firm) when finishing third of nine of 6f here on good-to-firm ground las time out. Finished well on that occasion and drop in trip not certain to suit.
Beaten just one rival home in two starts over 6f at this track so far. Beaten 30L on the most recent of those and likely to struggle today.
Ran well on her first two starts but disappointing the last twice including over 6f here in May. Others make more appeal in this contest.
Green and ultimately beaten 37L when finishing last of nine on her debut over 6f on good-to-firm ground here in May. Others make more appeal here.
Forecasts
Knockout Blow (2/1), Billy Dylan (11/4), Levante Player (11/4), Demons Rock (9/2), Floss The Hoss (14/1), Brockey Rise (33/1), Renton (50/1), Kathy (50/1)
BILLY DYLAN ran a fair race when contesting a Group 2 contest at Royal Ascot last time out and this drop in grade and return to the softer surface predicted here can see him register a victory under a penalty here. Of the selections rivals Knockout Blow has run well in two of his three starts to date and is likely to race prominently as is Demons Rock who ran well on good-to-soft ground on his penultimate outing.
- Billy Dylan
- Knockout Blow
- Demons Rock
