Fly London Southend Airport To Lyon Handicap

Won a maiden over a mile on debut and bounced back to form with a 33/1 win at Goodwood last time. Hard to know what that form will amount to but can't be dismissed if the hood has the same effect again with more improvement possible.

Unable to win a maiden, but scored on his handicap debut at Newcastle in September. Perhaps not suited by the slow ground last time but may have needed that run and expected to do better here.

Best effort to date came on sole turf start at this course over the mile in soft ground. Disappointing at Wolverhampton last time but when an odds-on favourite and Crowley prefers Fareeq so perhaps best watched this time around.

Good second behind a progressive sort who won again next time at Goodwood two starts back and didn't need to improve to win a three-runner maiden at Redcar last time. Handicapper appears to have given him a fair mark for his handicap debut and good chance with top jockey in the saddle.

Won in soft conditions at Goodwood last year, making all in impressive fashion and started this year in fair form with a couple of placed efforts on the AW but well beaten on both of his latest starts. May appreciate the return of this jockey in the saddle and the return to softer conditions.

50/1 third of 11 at Wolverhampton last month and confirmed the promise of that effort with a win back at that course earlier this month, quickening well off a slow pace. Opening handicap mark looks about right and hard to dismiss with more improvement likely.

Winner over 6f at Windsor last year but very disappointing since and handicapper has seemingly over-estimated him. May want a return to faster conditions to be seen at his best.

Maiden winner at Wolverhampton but no suggestion he's well-handicapped on three efforts since and he's not the most straightforward looking sort. Still early days and too soon to right off but probably best watched for now.

Equiano filly who scored on her third and final start of 2016, winning a 14-runner maiden. May find life tougher back against the opposite sex and form of that race probably not the strongest on offer here. Entitled to need this run.
