Four wins from 15 on the AW but still winless from seven attempts on turf, though better signs when a 2L fourth of 12 on debut for this yard at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) recently. Should be in the mix.

Rejuvenated by a switch yards and arrives here looking for a four-timer, following a brace of AW wins and a victory at Brighton (6f, good to firm). Raised 4lb for his latest success but has won off much higher marks in the past.

Only has a maiden win to his name and has tasted defeat in plenty of handicaps off this sort of mark on turf and AW, going down by 11L at Leicester (7f, good to firm) latest. Not hard to pass over.

Won three times in Ireland for David Wachman over 7f-1m on ground ranging from yielding to heavy, but unconvincing in two runs for present yard so far. Mark is falling but drop to 6f unlikely to be in his favour.

Belatedly opened his account on the AW last year and began this season with a front-running win over 6f at Salisbury (good to firm). Lost nothing in defeat when third off a 6lb higher mark latest and should run well again.

Slow start to the current campaign but has worked his way back into form, digging deep to repel the challenge of Delfie Lane over 6f at Chepstow (good to firm) last time. More to do offer a 3lb higher mark but has scored from higher in the past.

Was in good form on the AW towards the ended of last season, winning twice, but not quite the same force on turf and well-held in both starts this year over 7f and 6f. Others look better handicapped.

Has shaped encouragingly in maidens up to 7f so far without quite looking like winning, most recently when a 3L second of four behind Made of Honour at Ayr, (6f, good). Worth a look on her handicap bow.

Consistent performer who won for the seventh time when scoring at Chepstow (6f, good to soft) last month and was a close third behind Showmethewayavrilo over that C&D last time. No margin for error off present mark, however.

A winner at Bath in 2015 and was having only his second subsequent run when second there (extended 5f, firm) on his reappearance last month. Ran to a similar level when a close-up seventh there last time but more needed now.

Hit a purple patch around this time last season when winning three on the bounce but it's been tough going this season. Finished 4L behind Himalayan Queen over 7f at Yarmouth (good to firm) last time and others look more convincing.

Three-time winner for Richard Fahey who finally came good for this yard when scoring over 5f at Lingfield (good to firm) earlier this month. Couldn't back that up at Brighton next time, however, and others appeal more.

Ran by far his best race for Bill Turner when a close-up third in a Salisbury maiden over 6f (good to firm) last month. Respected on that form s he debut's for a new yard but he was held off lower handicaps marks previously.

Doesn't win as often as he should but ended a 19-race losing run streak when scraping home from Captain Ryan over an extended 5f (firm) at Bath last time out. Not an obvious one to follow up after a 2lb rise.

Veteran campaigner who gained the most recent of his 10 career wins on the AW at Wolverhampton (6f) in November. Little to enthuse over in subsequent turf handicaps however, most recently when 6L adrift of Showmethewayavrilo.

Verdict

Showmethewayavrilo had a few of these behind when winning at Chepstow last time but remains potentially well-treated despite a 3lb rise compared to older form, while much the same could be said about the rejuvenated Deeds Not Words who arrives here in search of a four-timer. Any value, however, could lie with BORN TO FINISH who shaped encouragingly on his debut for Jamie Osborne in a better race at Salisbury recently, suggesting there his more to come.
