Stays this extended trip well, and form figures here read 1172, so clearly likes the track. Starting to fall back to a winnable mark after a couple of below par efforts but close second at Taunton in April shows he's no back number. Not discounted.
Ran well over this C&D (from a 4lb lower mark than today) and back in the visor that he won twice in last year. Yard finding some form too, so plenty of positives, but needs to bounce back from a poor effort at Stratford last time. Risky, but not out if it.
Drop in grade and big step up in trip seemed to work the oracle at Worcester last time out, and 6lb rise for that probably about right. Tougher race tonight, but clearly in good heart and a follow-up can't be ruled out under conditions likely to suit.
Showed that this sort of trip and ground holds no terrors when winning at Uttoxeter (from a 4lb lower mark than today) last September, but has been well beaten on both starts after an absence this spring and current well being has to be a question.
Seemed to need all of Hexham's 2m7½f trip when scoring last time out, so this further step up in trip a likely positive. 7lb rise for that is plenty, and this is a tougher race, but not been with new yard that long and will probably find more improvement yet.
Infrequent winner, and well into the veteran stage now, but his new yard do well with these hard-to-win-with sorts and they might find a race down the line this summer for him. This just looks too tough, however, and others easily preferred.
Veteran that's won his share over the years, and showed he still has a bit to offer when winning a couple of point-to-points this spring. Won easily over C&D last July (holds Decimus on that form), on a fair mark and in current frame of mind, can't be easily discounted either.
Did at least take a step back in the right direction when third to Rainbow Haze here last time out, but takes a big step up in trip here and will find these conditions much quicker. Others look stronger.

Not an easy race to close the card with, and plenty of these can be given a chance on bits and pieces of their form. The old boy ARCHIE RICE has shown that there's still life in him yet, and with his ideal conditions here, might be able to take the scalps of one or two more fancied rivals. Both Vendredi Trois and Lake Shore Drive won last time out and find themselves in a better race here, but both look to have more to offer. Decimus and Generous Chief have both been around the block as well, but neither can be discounted in a wide-open contest.
