Has steadily improved with each run for new yard but latest effort in a slowly run affair at Lingfield still leaves him below the form which brought him his last success in 2015.
No show in three maidens but has been set a reasonable mark and a less competitive task for his handicap debut.
Sole victory in 20 starts came when with Roger Charlton. Sinking down the weights and should appreciate the switch back to a mile. Good 7lb claimer on board and could be a surprise package.
11-race maiden who showed something to work on when third over this C&D on first run following a nine month absence. Ridden to get the longer trip a month ago but was too keen and never threatened. Back to right trip and dropped further in the weights.
Has won this contest on two previous occasions including last year off 6lb higher. Came into those races in better form than is the case here.
Yet to threaten in seven starts over various trips. Attracted support following 15 month absence when making stable debut a fortnight ago but otherwise hard to find any positives.
Landed a poor AW race in January for his sole victory in 34 starts. Down to his winning mark but still hard to fancy.
Yet to make the frame in 13 starts and a first time visor is applied. Looks to have plenty to find in order to be competitive.
Very hit-and-miss type who has been more of the latter than the former this year with his form very much summed up by his last runs over C&D which have seen him out of sorts.
Showed a bit more at Yarmouth last time when 100/1 for a poor race. Stayed on late but still beaten a fair way and has work to do in order to supply yard with their first winner since October.
120,000 gns purchase has looked poor on last two starts. Jockey bookings indicate he is stable's second string, although regular pilot probably had little difficulty in opting for Lawfilly.
A tendency to flash her tail under pressure is a clear indicator as to why she remains a 12-race maiden. Has shown the form to win this if willing enough.
Well beaten on all career starts and last of seven on handicap debut two weeks ago. Stable are going through a quiet spell and hard to see him improving their record.
Has finished nearer last than first on each of his starts. New headgear now applied but hard to see that making the necessary impact.
Can be relied upon to run to form albeit at a modest level. Off the track seven weeks and only one of the last 12 winners of this had been off the track longer than 29 days.

Forecasts
Lawfilly (4/1), Luxford (5/1), Provoking (5/1), Alketios (6/1), Fairy Mist (7/1), Captain Marmalade (8/1), Pivotal Dream (12/1), Caspian Gold (16/1), Sabato (16/1), Kristoff (16/1), Lutine Charlie (20/1), King Otto (25/1), Ripper Street (25/1), Diamondsaretrumps (33/1), Clandon (50/1), Nip Down The Jug (50/1)
This is a weak race where a case is difficult to make for any of the 16 declared. Lawfilly has the best recent form but she does not impress as the type who will work hard to get her head in front. Fairy Mist has won this twice previously but needs to put two less convincing runs behind her. Provoking has claims on his reappearance third but it is CAPTAIN MARMALADE who gets the nod. Jimmy Fox's charge appeals having indicated he was not far off his best here last time. He ran well enough from higher marks last season to show he can take this now that he has proven his wellbeing.
- Captain Marmalade
- Provoking
- Lawfilly
