Drops in grade from a Class 2 at Ascot last time where she was a little below form when finishing sixth (didn't look entirely straightforward). Still only has a maiden win to her name and the cheekpieces worn on her last three starts are swapped for a first-time visor now. Does like to go forward and well drawn if she wants to do that here.
Burst back to life and form when winning her third race last time at Chester over 7f with the soft ground really appearing to suit. All her wins have come with give in the ground and off a 4lb higher mark she may struggle to follow-up under these much quicker conditions.
An overall record of 0/7 isn't that appealing although she appeared to run way above her previous form when a close-up sixth in a 1m2f Listed race on her last start when a 33/1 chance. Needs to prove that run wasn't a fluke back in a handicap for just the second time.
Could hardly be described as progressive in maidens having been beaten in five of those contests. Yet to beat and horse home in two handicap starts finishing very weakly on both occasions and can only be watched here.
Hardly needed to improve from her debut when taking a Beverley maiden on her second start over an extended mile in April. Looked to need the assistance of the hood when running a better race on her second handicap start at Wetherby again over a mile showing more than on her handicap debut but hardly looking convincing throughout the race.
Forecasts
Aristocratic (11/8), Pattie (7/4), Alpine Dream (13/2), Rinaria (7/1), Fiendish (16/1)
This can only be described as a weak race for the grade and it won’t take much winning with the older horses looking to hold the edge in the market. Alpine Dream probably needs softer ground to be seen at her best and although ARISTOCRATIC doesn’t the most straightforward of individuals she does drop in grade here and could well get a soft lead from the inside stall. The trio of three-year-olds all have questions to answer with Pattie looking to be the pick of them if she can live up to her Newbury form and that would give her the edge over Rinaria.
- Aristocratic
- Alpine Dream
- Pattie
