Well-placed to win five times from his first 12 starts, his last success coming over 7f (good to soft) on this track almost two years ago. Dismal last year but signs of a revival on the AW earlier in the year. First attempt at 1m.
Former Richard Hannon inmate who gained a fourth career win when scoring over C&D (good to firm) 11 months ago. Less impressive but not disgraced in two runs for new yard this season and falling mark is beginning to look workable.
Successful three times on turf last year including over an extended 1m (good to firm) at Windsor. Below par there on his reappearance but ran better on the AW last time and suspicion remains there could be more to come from him.
Proved a revelation in first-time blinkers when scoring readily over 1m (good) last month but only seventh of 11 off an 8lb higher mark on the AW at Kempton next time. Return to turf will be appreciated but would need a career-best.
Rated 8lb higher than his last winning mark but a runner-up four times since, though below par over 7f on the AW latest. Sure to appreciate this return to the turf and capable of making his mark with the yard going well.
Twice a winner over 1m from six runs last season but has found things tougher from a higher mark this season, finishing 8L behind Toulson at Windsor (1m2f, good to soft) latest. Respected as he drops back in trip but draw far from ideal.
Veteran seven-time winner who has shown that he remains a force to be reckoned with by finishing a runner-up in each of his last two starts, including off this mark at Leicester (1m, good) latest. Solid each-way credentials.
Twice a winner for Andrew Balding but the handicapper gradually reeled him in and he hasn't really looked like adding to his tally in six runs for current yard. Dropped 3lb but awkwardly boxed and others look more persuasive.
Boasts six wins on his CV up to 1m but drew a blank on the AW over the winter and has failed to cut much ice in two recent runs on turf. Mark is beginning to plummet as a result, however.
Remains a maiden on turf but a close-up fourth off this mark over 1m2f (good to firm) at Windsor last month prior to gaining a fourth career win on the AW at Kempton (1m) latest. Draw could have been kinder but no surprise to see him run well.
Ordinary maiden form but much-improved when just touched off on his seasonal return/handicap bow at Windsor (1m2f, good) in April. A big potential improver for a yard which won this last year but speed query to answer over this trip and draw far from ideal.
Has wins between 6f and 1m2f on his CV but has yet to actually win a race over 1m, despite running many fine races in defeat. A winner at Lingfield last time out in February but vulnerable to race-fit rivals off a higher mark.
He's 0-13 on turf but three times a winner on the AW last year and he returned from a lengthy absence to finish a close third over 1m (good) at Pontefract in April. Same mark here but this looks a stronger race.

Capton (5/1), Tomahawk Kid (11/2), Bunbury (7/1), Kestrel Dot Com (15/2), Ripoll (8/1), Wind In My Sails (9/1), Dubai's Secret (10/1), Golden Wedding (11/1), Exceeding Power (12/1), Buckland Beau (12/1), Directorship (14/1), Cricklewood Green (16/1), Kingston Kurrajong (20/1), Mullionheir (25/1)
An ultra-competitive affair in which it's hard to rule anything in or out with total confidence. If there is a blot on the handicap it could be Capton but he's not ideally-boxed in stall 14 as he drops back in trip and DUBAI'S SECRET could prove a better value alternative from a falling mark, having ran much better than the bare results suggest in two runs this term. Wind In My Sails, Kestrel Dot Com and Golden Wedding also command respect.
