Horse A-Z
Exceed and Excel filly from a good family. Stable does well with its juveniles and she is certainly one of the more interesting debutants.
A 20,000gns yearling half-sister to 6f winner Navigate, she showed little on her debut at Redcar and may be one for nurseries further down the line.

Acclamation filly who cost €85,000 as a foal and €140,000 as a yearling. Dam is a half-sister to 6f Group 1 winner Lethal Force. Shaped well when third on her debut at Goodwood and, with improvement to come, is a big player. Entered in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes at The Curragh.

Bahamian Bounty filly who was purchased for £20,000 as a yearling last August. Dam is a daughter of leading sprinter Royal Applause. Fourth of six on her debut at Bath after being slowly away, she is entitled to improve, but will need to do.

A Footstepsinthesand filly from a good family, she cost 22,000 euros as a foal. Stable capable of getting one ready to win first time and, with a leading jockey booked, she is worth a check in the market.

A £54,000 yearling, she is a half-sister to six winners including the useful Karaka Jack. Needed the experience at Goodwood on her debut and is another who may be better suited by nurseries in due course.

40/1
KItten's Joy filly whose dam was a winning miler on the dirt in the US. Stable has yet to hit form with its juveniles and this one is best watched on debut.

16/1
Big Bad Bob filly who cost 42,000gns as a yearling and whose dam won over 6f and 7f. Showed ability despite being green on her debut at Redcar and although likely to be better suited to further, it would be no surprise to see her figure prominently.

14/1
Invincible Spirit sister to 6f-1m2f winner Muntadab. Appeals on pedigree and has to be respected for one of the country's top trainers of juveniles.

Horse silk
10/1
An 80,000gns yearling, she is a half-sister to to seven winners over various distances. She was some way behind Elizabeth Bennet on her Goodwood debut and has plenty to do in order to turn the tables.

(3)
Horse silk
8/1
Cost E55,000 as a yearling and is a sister to a couple of winners over 6f and a mile. Did not pull up any trees on her debut at Nottingham, but is entitled to improve as she gains experience.

(9)
Horse silk
66/1
Harbour Watch half-sister to 7f-1m2f winner Boutan. Stable not noted for its juvenile winners, but worth a check in the market.

Forecasts

Elizabeth Bennet (13/8), Golden Footsteps (11/4), Silver Bullet (8/1), Sardenya (10/1), Laura Knight (10/1), Arizona Mist (10/1), Phillimore (14/1), Patty Patch (16/1), Go Bananas (25/1), Deauville Society (25/1), Moggy (40/1), Watch Tan (66/1)

Verdict

Some quesswork is required with several of these making their debuts. Arizona Mist and Phillimore look the most likely of them, but Elizabeth Bennet shaped well on her first start at Goodwood and, given her Group 1 entry, is clearly held in some regard and ought to win this well. Golden Footsteps looks an interesting contender, while Patty Patch ran well on debut and can improve.
  1. Elizabeth Bennet
  2. Arizona Mist
  3. Phillimore
