Winner of her debut run at Newmarket was franked by the runner-up winning a Listed contest subsequently but this filly proved very disappointing at York on her follow-up bid when too keen to do herself justice. Needs to learn to settle better but worth giving another chance and she'll appreciate the drop in class no doubt.

Outclassed and well beaten when tried in a high quality handicap last time but returns to calmer waters here. Back to a mile could well suit and he had looked a useful prospect prior to his most recent run. May resume progress here for a trainer who has a 20% record around here.

Hit and miss performer who won a heavy ground handicap over a mile at Doncaster two starts back but has struggled on both starts either side of that on the AW. Appears to appreciate a strong pace to aim at and not discounted if plenty of rain arrives, having proven that he handles a testing surface.

Lemon Drop Kid colt, cost €70,000 as a two-year-old Breeze-Up purchase. Couldn't have won his maiden at Kempton much more impressively on his second start. Form of that race looks rock solid and he could well be on a lenient mark. The worry would be the return to softer conditions.

Improved for a couple of maiden runs with a win at Nottingham on comeback effort, winning impressively. Likely to get similar conditions again here and opening mark looks feasible so no obvious reason why he won't go well again.

Winner on debut on fast ground at Bath but struggled since and can often miss the break. Hard to fancy in current form and may be in need of a return to a shorter trip and faster ground than what he's likely to get here.

Raven's Pass colt, cost 28,000 gns as a foal and bought for 180,000 gns as a yearling. Beat a smart looking field on return to action at Newbury last month, staying on gamely in the closing stages. On that evidence, this step up in trip shouldn't bother him and he's likely to get similar ground again; should go well from a fair enough looking handicap mark.

Won his maiden at Kempton in October, rallying gamely to regain the lead entering the final furlong. 7f may have been too short for him at Newbury on comeback run in April, not making matters any better by missing the break. Step back up in trip sure to suit and this trainer and jockey have a 27.27% strike-rate at this course.

Back-to-back winner at Southwell at the start of the year and due to go up 5lb for last weeks narrow defeat at Wolverhampton. Hasn't looked quite as effective on turf but warrants respect bearing in mind he's "well in".

Lost his maiden tag when winning a handicap at Kempton on his return to action this year. Too keen to do himself justice in a follow-up bid at Newbury but bounced with a smart performance at Salisbury last time, finishing behind a well-handicapped sort. Should go well again.

Improved on handicap debut to win at Windsor last time but may struggle to follow that up in a stronger race carrying a 6lb penalty.
