Unraced son of Rajsaman purchases for £12,000 at the breeze-up sales in April 2016. Dam an unraced half-sister to useful miler My Stone though probably best watched on debut.

Finished third in both starts so far. Most recent of those came when finishing 1L behind the winner on heavy ground at Doncaster last month. Handles the quicker ground forecast here and likely to play a leading role today.

Well held in two maiden races over 7f last month. Likely to prove better suited to handicap races in time.

Stepped up on modest debut debut effort when finishing 8¼L fourth of eight in a 5f maiden at Lingfield (good) 12 months ago. Unraced since and market is likely to prove the best guide to expectations on his seasonal debut today.

Placed on each of his three starts since debuting at Sandown in May last year. Beaten a neck over 5f at Ripon (good) in a maiden event in July last year when last seen in action. Likely to play a leading role if fit for her return to action.

Unraced home-bred daughter of Assertive out of a mare who failed to place in five starts. Probably best watched on debut.

Forecasts

Dirchill (8/11), Madame Bounty (9/4), Make Sail (8/1), Astone Man (14/1), Papa Delta (20/1), Fivos (50/1), Aegean Secret (66/1)

Verdict

DIRCHILL is taken to get off the mark at the third time of asking having finished third on both starts at Doncaster so far. The first of those races came on good-to-firm ground and he can get the better of Madame Bounty who makes her seasonal debut here while Papa Delta stepped up on his debut when fourth at Lingfield 12 months ago and can take third in this.
  1. Dirchill
  2. Madame Bounty
  3. Papa Delta
