May have needed the run after winter break when outpaced at Beverley in April, but despite falling handicap mark has struggled to make an impression for some time. Revival not completely ruled out though in easier race.
Modest strike rate but has won at this track in the past. Decent efforts when runner-up on latest two starts, but jury is out with regard to this step back up in distance
No problem with trip and was in fair form this winter on the A/W/ Customary slow start at Musselburgh latest but still came through for second. Should be thereabouts if not giving away too much ground at start.
Nine-race regressive maiden having first start under new handler. Continues to drop down the weights and not disgraced here last time. Market may be worth a second glance.
Has been a revelation since joining current yard in November, winning three A/W handicaps and scoring comfortably over hurdles at Cartmel last week. Another big run anticipated if latest effort hasn't taken its toll of him.
Runner-up on last three starts, looking a little one paced over 10 furlongs. Step up in trip a logical step, but does appear to lack a gear at the business end of his races these days.
One-time decent handicapper but those days are a distant memory. Soundly beaten all eight starts in 2016, and while undoubtedly well weighted if recovering something close to his former glories, is not one to rely on too heavily on seasonal return.
Has won four of his eight starts since joining current yard a year ago, three over hurdles. Only modest on Flat but not ruled out here off a low weight, given his fine strike rate.
Failed to reach even a place in nine starts to date and looks distinctly moderate. Very hard to make a case for despite lowly rating.
Shown neglible ability in six starts so far; five on Flat and one over hurdles. Despite light weight would be a massive shock if managing to even reach the frame.

Getting almost a stone from the in-form My Renaissance, TONTO'S SPIRIT is suggested as a value alternative to the possible favourite and knows how to win. He represents a very shrewd handler. My Renaissance will be a tough nut to crack in present form after scoring again over hurdles last week and should be very much in the thick of the action. Correggio is capable of figuring if on a 'going' day, and Surround Sound is worthy of consideration on the balance of his form. Hannington is not completely ruled out but needs to prove he stays.
