Daughter of the speedy Dandy Man, she Cost 28,000 gns and represents a powerful. Not the end of the world if she needs the outing, so a watching brief on the betting is advised before getting involved financially.

Ran above market expectations on debut at Thirsk last week - finished just over 5l behind a potentially useful individual. Needs to improve but is going the right way and will be a threat if she can build on her debut run.

Cost 27,000 gns, bred to get a bit further than this, so may be best watched on her debut. Yard not really noted for first-time out winners with its youngsters.

Went through the sales ring at £35,000 as a two-year-old and is related to a number of sprinters that made an impact at a modest level. Interesting if supported, as she was well backed on debut at Salisbury. But readily overhauled when push came to shove on that occasion and more required here.

Cost 52,000 gns, she shouldn't be inconvenienced by the minimum trip at this stage - sire won his first two starts over 5f but his dam was unplaced between 5f and 7f. Possible she will come into her own over further in due course.

Made an encouraging start at Redcar but has failed to progress in two subsequent outings. Application of a visor made little impact last time out and hard to see her finding the improvement required to play a strong part this time around.

€30,000 yearling from a highly respected yard, that is very capable of having one ready for a race such as this. Her dam - a half-sister to the useful Idle Powers and the versatile Come On Johnny - won as a 2-y-o and went on to hold her own at Listed level. Has to be on the shortlist.

Winning sprinters in her bloodlines but is a likely type to also appreciate up to 10f if she follows the typical route suggested by her pedigree. One for the notebook today but no surprise to see her give a good account of herself. Yard has been quiet lately though.

Nicely-bred but was too green to do herself any favours on debut at Windsor earlier this month. May have benefited from the run but needs to step things up considerably this time around.

Another from the William Haggas yard that looks the part on paper, her dam was useful at the trip and is a half-sister to a 5f Listed race winner on the AW. The betting will be helpful in determing the stable's leading candidate.

A €67,000 yearling, she is a half-sister to the useful sprinter Yulong Baiobei, and her dam was closely related to the mighty Kyllachy. Lots to like about her breeding and has an in-form jockey in the saddle. Needs to be a lot sharper away from the stalls than on her debut though.

Forecasts

Tulip Fever (4/1), One For June (9/2), Donny Belle (5/1), Gaelic Spirit (6/1), Glaceon (7/1), Mnemonic Alexander (15/2), Marilyn M (8/1), Alba Del Sole (10/1), Wings Of The Rock (16/1), Nobrassnolass (16/1), Elusive Bird (25/1), Hellovaqueen (25/1), Saria (100/1), Peas On Earth (100/1)

Verdict

William Haggas sets a poser here with little to split the nicely-bred pair Tulip Fever and ONE FOR JUNE on breeding. The latter is a touch a more intriguing at this stage and may offer more value in what looks a highly competitive maiden. Others to look out for include: Glaceon, who represents a yard that always merits respect in races of this nature, while Mnemonic Alexander and Alba Del Sole also look the part on paper and are worth a check in the betting.
  1. One For June
  2. Glaceon
  3. Mnemonic Alexander
