Won three times over 6f and 7f when with Richard Hannon, his best winning mark on turf being 70. Drops in class today and is 1lb below that successful mark from 2015. Acts on good to firm ground and should not be far away if overcoming wide draw.
0-13 on turf, though placed five times, with all his winning form being on the All Weather at 7f-1m. Acts on fast ground and is on his highest winning mark today so has possibilities.
Love it here with form figures at the track of 4-2-6-2-1-6-4-6-2-4-1-10-3-5-7-4-1-3, so doesn't often run below par when turning up. Those last two figures have been this season, when she won over 1m½f last month (good to firm) and was beaten just ½L over today's C&D when try to follow-up from 6lb higher. Up another 2lb but respected.
Has both turf successes were last season over 1m (soft) and 6f (good to soft), so she will welcome any rain and she has now dropped to 2lb below the latter winning mark. If she was reproduce her Thirsk effort of two starts ago from today's lower mark then she should be thereabouts, although poor draw to overcome.
10-time winner from 7f-1m, including twice over C&D when the ground has been good to firm. The most recent of those was from just 1lb lower than today, last August, so despite a couple of poor efforts so far, he is not badly drawn and the return to this venue might just reignite him.
Yet another course specialist in the field, this one having recorded four of his five careers wins over this C&D (all on good to firm). The last of those was almost two years ago from 2lb higher. Has the ability to go very close, but has never won first time out and may just need this.
Sole career win was over C&D in three-year-old company a year ago (good to firm) from 2lb lower and was competitive from higher marks when making the frame at both Redcar and Thirsk after that. Last of nine on her reappearance at Pontefract, but likely to be better for that and looks the yard's first string on jockey bookings today.
Unlike many in this line-up, this is his first run here. Managed to win a Ripon maiden (6f, good) and a Hamilton handicap (6f, good to firm) when trained by Kevin Ryan and has had just two starts for current yard. Is now a stone below his Hamilton winning mark from 12 months ago and sees out 7f, so may be able to step back in the right direction.
Was a dual Thirsk winner last August, both over 1m and on good to firm and then soft ground. The latter was from 2lb higher than today's mark and he ran well from this pitch at Nottingham last time. Well drawn here and this stiff 7½f may well suit. Interesting.
Won both a claimer and a seller when with Keith Dalgleish, the last of those being in 2014, but never yet in a handicap. Was not far away at Doncaster last summer (7f, good), when beaten 1¼L from 3lb higher. Arrives with no fitness doubts, but the worst of the draw and percentage call is to take him on.
Two of her three career wins have been over C&D and on good/fast ground. Begins here from the same mark as when scoring last July after going very close over C&D last time from 2lb lower. Plumb inside draw and has ideal pilot on board to exploit that. Decent claims.
First run here but has won going right-handed at Ripon (6f, good). Last success was almost two years ago at Hamilton (6f, good) in first-time blinkers, but has not been able to run to that level of form for some time and goes into this on a career-low mark. Poor draw too, so looks best watched.
Of his nine career wins, five have been at Hamilton and three of the others here (7½f-1m2f, all on good to firm). 1lb higher today than the most recent of those, but proved he can still handle that when runner-up off the same mark at Southwell last month. Good draw and not ruled out.

Plenty of C&D winning form among the biggest field on the card and there are quite a few with claims. Steal The Scene looks interesting with top weight now dropped in class, though he does have a poor draw to contend with, while the same applies to both Danot and Specialv. A market check is advised with regard to Donnelly's Rainbow, but the most interesting runners here are Hijran, Popsies Joy and ARCANE DANCER, who goes well here, has the inside rail draw and the former champion up and she gets the vote.
