Sent off a warm order on her debut over 6f at Windsor last September, she ran very green and failed to beat a rival home. Has shaped with a little promise in a couple of maidens this season and moves up in trip here to make her handicap debut.

Signed off his juvenile campaign with an all-the-way success over a mile at Leicester in October and has shaped well so far in two races this season, running well behind Teodoro at Redcar last time. Has solid credentials in this company.

Yet to start a race at odds of less than 25/1 in his five outings to date but he has shown glimpses of a little ability and could pick up a race in time. Hampered in his most recent run at this venue, he could run well at a decent price this evening.

By far the best of her seven runs to date came on the Polytrack surface at Kempton when she was just unable to match the finishing speed of Fleeting Francesca, when beaten little more than a length. Tries the Tapeta surface for the first time and could run a big race.

Sent off at massive odds in his first four races, showing little, he caught the eye in a Catterick 7f handicap in April before staying on well to land a similar contest at Ayr earlier this month. Heading in the right direction and there is clearly more to come.

Filly has had just the five runs so far and although she has shown signs of some ability in those races, she has yet to trouble the judge. Dropped away tamely over 1m2f at Yarmouth last time, she is tried in blinkers for the first time tonight.

Never a factor in two end of season maiden events at Lingfield and Kempton as a two-year-old, he was gelded before returning to the track at Lingfield last month but came home last of the seven runners. Hard to make out a case for him here on what he has achieved so far.

Sent off at long odds for each of her races to date, running probably her best race over 6f at Chelmsford City in October in a race won by The Feathered Nest. Beaten a long way at Yarmouth on her seasonal debut, has to improve here, moving up in distance.

Has managed a couple of third-placed efforts in her eight outings to date and has shown enough to suggest that she can win a race of this nature. A bitterly disappointing favourite at Brighton on her most recent start, she is capable of a better showing tonight.

Having shown a degree of promise as a two-year-old, she has shaped well in two recent outings here at Wolverhampton, finishing a close third behind A Sure Welcome and not enjoying the clearest of runs behind Log Off last time. Will not be far away.

Has had nine races so far between 7f and 1m4f and the closest he has been to the winner is 6L. Has been busy this season, making a little late progress at Bath last time without troubling the principals. Could be a lively contender this evening.

Has beaten just three horses home in his three outings in Ireland, running over 5f, 6f and 7f. Having his first run for Jennie Candlish tonight as he makes his handicap bow. Hard to fancy on what he has achieved to date.

Verdict

LOVE AND BE LOVED has done well in two recent outings on this track, not getting the clearest of runs in her most recent start. This is not the toughest of races and she can open her account at the eighth time of asking. A bit of Ginger looks a big danger to the selection. She ran easily her best race in seven career starts on an artificial surface and she will be there or thereabouts at the finish. Snookered will have plenty of followers but one that could go well at a decent price is Greyjoy, who was noted staying on late in his most recent outing.
