Yard's horses are going well without winning and rider has a modest 1-26 strike rate for them. Given time off having failed to justify support last time. Could be better than that form suggest and well drawn with last five winners coming from stalls 1-4.
Not knocked about last time and makes handicap debut. Has looked the type to improve but initial mark suggests handicapper has taken a cautious view.
Arrives having scored in higher grade last time. Stable have won three of the last seven runnings of this and no surprise if this improving type should add to that tally.
Best effort came at Nottingham but that form has been devalued since. Out of his depth last time and makes handicap bow. Related to several winners and the best is yet to come but current evidence makes him hard to fancy off this mark.
Without a win in 12 starts and only beat one home last time. Drops in trip after the failure of an experiment in compensating for his slow starting antics.
Third here in first time hood which failed to have the same effect two weeks later. Aids removed and he is possibly not that straightforward.
First time hood did the trick on his handicap debut last month. Looked a difficult ride that day but has more to offer once he matures. Has shown a tendency to hang which could be an issue on these wide open spaces but he remains one for the shortlist.
Has improved with each run in maidens whilst never proving a threat. Promises more now handicapping and worth a check in pre-race trading.
Sole success came in a Wolverhampton seller in August, but ran well in defeat at Yarmouth last time. Top rider booked by new trainer looking for his first winner.
Appears to need strong handling as she has looked a keen going sort. Drops to a handy mark and worth a check in the market.
Has not looked anything special in his five starts to date. Recent winners of this tend to have had the benefit of a run.
Runs to a consistent level which is one that gives him plenty to find, particularly from 2lb out of the handicap.

Rita's Man (2/1), Tennessee Rose (6/1), Alemaratalyoum (6/1), Call Me Grumpy (7/1), Chance To Dream (9/1), Badenscoth (11/1), Zoffany Bay (12/1), Sakurajima (14/1), Hawridge Glory (16/1), Morello (16/1), Challow (20/1), Hold Me Tight (25/1), Gaia Princess (40/1)
A low draw and a run in the last few weeks have been requisite in winning the majority of recent renewals of this. It also helps to come from the Hannon stable so RITA'S MAN has a lot going for him before considering his outstanding run of form. A 4L success when winning in higher grade last time suggests he will be facing stiffer tasks in the future. His young rider is good value and more than compensates for the 6lb penalty. Call Me Grumpy was well supported for a similar race here two weeks ago before the meeting was abandoned. His yard's runners here always command respect whilst Alemaratalyoum may prove better than his last run would lead you to believe.
