Last seen winning a Kempton maiden (6f) on his third start in October. Gelded since then and now makes his handicap debut from a mark of 82 in a first-time hood. Stable's 3yo turf runners have a 22% strike rate so far this season and it would be no surprise to see him go well.
Won a Newcastle maiden on his second start last year and has already had four handicap runs this spring, winning by 6L last week at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) despite being slowly into his stride. A reproduction of that gives him decent claims of following-up under his 6lb penalty.
Won a four-horse novices' auction contest on debut at Southwell (5f) last year, that being his only start. Since been gelded and the step up to this trip looks no problem on pedigree. Yard not fully into its stride this Flat season (two turf winners at the time of writing) and interesting to see what market says of his chance with top pilot up.
Took advantage of a 3lb drop in the weights to win at Ayr last time (6f, good to firm). Runner-up and reopposing El Hombre has strengthened that form with his subsequent win and this runner now meets that opponent on 3lb worse terms for the 1½L he had in hand. Should again be thereabouts.
Won a 6f maiden on the same Ayr card as Burrishoole Abbey and now steps into handicap company. Recorded a marginally slower time there but was carrying 1lb more, so handicap mark looks about right and he should show up well.
Won a Wolverhampton maiden in March (5f), though initial handicap mark has looked just a shade too high. Gelded prior to his latest start when he was beaten 2½L over 6f (good) at Chester and now 2lb lower, so should be able to finish closer.
Landed a Newcastle maiden (6f) on debut in February and was still green enough on his only start since, when handicapping (5f, good to firm) at Nottingham earlier in the month. 1lb lower this time and back up in trip, there is no reason why he can't get more competitive.
Came good at the third attempt in maiden company at Windsor in October (6f, good to firm), though beaten 18½L at Lingfield (6f, good to soft) from today's mark on his reappearance a couple of weeks ago. Possible he didn't handle the slower ground there, but it does leave him with just a little bit to prove.
Kempton maiden winner (6f) in March on her third start, though beaten 7L on firm ground at Bath (5½f) on her handicap debut last month, when she missed the break and could never get competitive. Extra ½f should help if that happens again and she is definitely worth another try.
His best effort yet was when winning a Wolverhampton maiden (6f) in August on his second start for John Gosden. Yet to figure in three handicaps so far, two for that yard and one since joining current stable for his reappearance at Chester (6f, good) earlier in the month. 3lb drop should help him and could finish closer.
Yet to win a race from five attempts, but did finish runner-up to Dagonet, beaten 1¼L off level weights in a Kempton maiden in October. Goes into this with an 8lb pull and the benefit of a reasonable prep run at Yarmouth last month (6f, good to firm), when beaten just 1¾L into fifth. Interesting.
Returned with a good effort at Ripon last month and followed that up with his first win when landing a Pontefract handicap (6f, good to firm) from a mark of 66. Raised 8lb for that 2¾L advantage that day and should again prove very competitive.
0-5 so far but comes here on the back of his best performance yet, when third (beaten 1½L) at Windsor (6f, good to firm) last time. Raised 2lb for that, so will need some improvement, but it is far too early to be ruling that out.

Dalton (4/1), El Hombre (9/2), Suitcase 'n' Taxi (6/1), Nibras Again (7/1), Burrishoole Abbey (8/1), Inlawed (11/1), Full Intention (12/1), Dagonet (12/1), Batten The Hatches (14/1), Open Wide (16/1), Sumner Beach (20/1), Naples Bay (20/1), Ashwaq (25/1), The Amber Fort (100/1)
An interesting three-year-old handicap where Dagonet should be capable of a good return run, though NIBRAS AGAIN is weighted to turn the tables on him from their previous race at Kempton and after blowing off the cobwebs at Yarmouth he could come good. Naples Bay has to be feared as one who scored when fresh last season, while Suitcase 'n' Taxi is in good form and Full Intention, Burrishoole Abbey, El Hombre and Dalton are others who would not surprise if proving good enough on the day.
- Nibras Again
- El Hombre
- Naples Bay
