Former Godolphin-owned gelding whose last of three wins was in Meydan (1m2f, good) in January 2014 from a 23lb higher mark. Best effort in four runs for this yard was last time at Nottingham (1m½f, good) and he now drops into this grade in handicap company for the first time, though will need to improve on recent efforts to win.
Rattled up a hat-trick on the AW at Wolverhampton in April/May 2016, winning from 1m½f-1m1½f. Showed improvement since being gelded despite defeats back at Wolverhampton and also on turf at Nottingham last time (1m½f, good to firm). 3lb higher today but should be competitive with yard in form and former champion back on board.
Has won one of his eight starts, that being at Chelmsford in February (1m) from a mark of 70. Not yet been able to go on from that, but has still gone well enough on his two subsequent starts and a 1lb drop will help him after finishing 3L adrift at Windsor (1m2f, good to firm) last time.
Form figures of 1111 from her last four starts, with those all being over 1m2f at Chelmsford, three in the autumn and then on her reappearance last month. Up another 7lb for that (total 26lb rise), but runner-up has been second again and the fifth has won two races since, so can't rule out another win if she is as good on turf.
Yet to break his duck in 10 attempts, though made the frame in four successive races last summer/autumn, including when runner-up on his handicap debut at Newmarket (1m2f, good to firm) from a mark of 76. Since left John Gosden for this yard and been tried over 1m6f and 2m½f in two runs this spring. Interesting now dropped 4lb and back in trip.
Won his first race since 2014 at Newcastle in March (1m2f) on the Tapeta from a mark of 63. 9lb higher today but that's because he has been improving despite being runner-up on his last three starts at around 1m4f. Acts on good/fast ground and can again go well now back in trip, though does need to squeeze out a little bit extra.
Won a Brighton handicap (7f, good) for trainer Robert Eddery last June from today's mark, although has been unable to repeat that since stepped up to today's trip on his last two outings at Windsor and Chelmsford. First run for this trainer today and possibly best watched.
Won two of his first four starts (7f and 1m) in 2015/2016 and William Muir but has been unable to get competitive in four hurdles and three Flat runs for this yard since December. Those three Flat runs have been at around 1m and he has dropped 15lb for them. Back up in trip today (stays 1m2f) and tongue tied, he looks interesting.
Won a couple of hurdles last year, but last Flat win was in 2014. This is his optimum trip and he goes on fast ground, but has failed to beat a rival home in two recent Flat runs at Wolverhampton and Nottingham and needs to find a fair bit to be winning this.
Is on a losing run of 28 races stretching back to July 2014, though has been placed numerous times during the interim, including last time over this trip at Beverley (good to firm) from today's mark. Couldn't rule out a decent effort but not easy to see him winning.

Therthaar (5/2), Captain Courageous (9/2), Royal Reserve (9/2), Mazaaher (8/1), Estrella Eria (9/1), False Id (10/1), Bahamian C (10/1), Zealous (12/1), Satish (14/1), Saxo Jack (25/1), No Win No Fee (100/1)
A competitive start to the card, with the suggestion being SATISH to finally break his duck. David O'Meara is among the winners and this four-year-old has been cut a little slack by the handicapper and also reverts to a more suitable trip. Zealous is interesting on his first run for this yard, while Estrella Eria has to enter calculations, though she also has it to prove on turf. Therthaar and Royal Reserve are others who might have a big say in the outcome.
- Satish
- Zealous
- Royal Reserve
