Has not quite got home on his last two starts so this shorter trip looks ideal. Fairly treated on the best of his form and this is not as competitive as the numbers suggest.
Appeared to be on his way back when going down narrowly last time. Well weighted on the pick of his form which includes back to back victories at Wolverhampton in 2015. Good claimer booked and has strong possibilities.
Remains a maiden after 16 races. Has flattered to deceive in the past so remains risky but ran well here three weeks ago when appearing in need of this longer trip.
Could be considered well handicapped on his best form. Returns to action following a 19 month absence and the run will probably be needed.
Veteran performer had gone off the boil when last seen. Lightly raced over the past two years and needs to prove his wellbeing.
Needed all of the 2m to score at Wolverhampton and worries this trip may be on the short side for this one paced mare. Gets maximum assistance from the saddle and she is in the right grade.
Has two turf victories on fast ground in Jersey and has been going well on the AW this winter, although his last two starts have been disappointing off his revised mark.
Has a career record of 1-25 and form has been patchy. Current form of stable raises concerns as she returns to the track following a break.
Romped home by 10L off a higher mark over 1m4f here last summer. Only the occasional glimpse of that ability since and steps up in trip.
Went closest to shedding maiden tag over 1m4f at Brighton in October, but was subsequently below that form in three AW outings. No show here last time and takes another drop in the weights. Tries trip for the first time.
Never a factor last time on return from an eight month absence. Has claims on previous effort at Newcastle and tackles a new trip. Dam was a winner over 2m so the switch has some merit.

A few of these are tackling the trip for the first time and are worth noting in the market for a race that will take little winning. Towards the foot of the handicap Espeegee and Aumit Hill come into this category and it would come as little surprise if they stepped up on previous efforts. WITH HINDSIGHT shaped well last time and remains on a good mark given his form in 2015. His last run gave out the right signals and he is taken to go one better. Thomas Blossom has travelled well in his recent races but has not quite got home so this drop in distance looks a good move and he should be thereabouts.
