Proclamation filly, cost 8,000 gns as a yearling. Well beaten on two starts last year and she's likely to be seen to better effect in handicaps that she qualifies for after this run.
New Approach mare whose dam was a full sister to Group placed Sir George Turner. Off-putting that she hasn't seen the racecourse until this age and hood on debut is another sign she's not straightforward. Best watched.
Sakhee's Secret filly whose dam was a Listed bumper/Flat winner. Nice blend of speed and stamina in pedigree. Yard have been in fair form in recent weeks so not dismissed but draw not ideal.
Oasis Dream filly, cost 130,000 gns as a yearling but resold for just 4,000 gns earlier this year and that's fairly off-putting in itself. Best watched on debut.
Galileo filly, cost $320,000 as a yearling and related to 1m2f French winner Anneli. Some speed on her dams side and any market confidence likely to be significant.
Medicean filly related to winners around this trip and made a promising debut at Leicester last year over 7f. Should be even better this year and signs the trainer's runners are hitting form in recent weeks; yard won this last year.
Sixties Icon filly related to plenty of sprinters so signs this could be a big enough stamina test on debut. Trainer not had any winners on the Flat in recent times so she looks opposable.
Lawman filly who was very green on debut and showed very little. Will probably want further than this but not discounted for a yard in excellent form.
Harbour Watch filly, cost 30,000 gns as a yearling. Fair debut after looking a little clueless out the stalls on debut but trainer would appear to have stronger claims in this contest with Tirania.
Iffraaj filly, cost 35,000 gns as a foal and 20,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to US Graded winner Spice Route. Yard in poor run of form at present and their debutantes usually need their debut.
Elusive Pimpernel filly, cost €5,000 as a yearing. Showed next to nothing on debut when a 100/1 shot and should do better in handicaps.
Pivotel filly, cost 62,000 gns as a foal and €370,000 as a yearling. Promising debut at Newbury when third of nine on good to firm ground and looks like the first string for a yard in good form. Different ground conditions here though and draw not ideal.
Myboycharlie filly, well beaten in a Nottingham maiden on debut. Probably one for handicaps.

Tirania (4/6), Italian Heiress (4/1), Sheila's Rock (4/1), Euqranian (5/1), Paradise Cove (8/1), Celtik Secret (20/1), Know The Truth (25/1), Queen Beatrice (50/1), Characterized (66/1), Wicker (66/1), Kalani Rose (66/1), Annoushka (66/1), Shamonix (100/1), Shujaha (100/1)
TIRANIA looks like William Haggas' First string and her debut effort suggests she should go well here provided she copes with the softer conditions. Know The Truth represents a yard in form while Italian Heiress made a promising debut and represents last year's winning connections.
- Tirania
- Know The Truth
- Italian Heiress
