6f Ripon maiden winner a couple of years ago but has been unable to cut the mustard in handicaps, showing only brief glimpses of ability and threatening to add to that win only once at Newcastle in October from 2lb higher. Coming back to form last time and with this pilot booked he could go close.

7f Brighton winner last June (good to firm) from 6lb lower when with Richard Hughes and is proven over this trip despite not yet winning at it. Has been competitive in defeat from this mark and should go well.

7f Lingfield maiden handicap winner in January from 6lb lower, but only just held from today's mark over C&D last time (good to firm). Also acts on slow side of good and has to enter calculations.

It's been a while since he recorded the last of his four successes and has one here to his name (7f, good to firm) from 2014. Now 9lb lower than that latest victory and went close from this mark at Chelmsford in October. Not without claims.

Both wins have been on the All Weather over this trip, including last time at Chelmsford from 4lb lower. Unknown quantity on turf given that only his debut has been contested on it and therefore cannot be ruled out.
