Verdict

JACK OF DIAMONDS finished a neck second over C&D on good-to-firm ground last month and can go one better by taking this concluding handicap event. The selection was tackling middle distances for the first time since September 2015 on that occasion and he can get the better of Hermann who remains unexposed having made just four racecourse appearances so far and is versatile in terms of tactics. Giveaway Chance who has won twice over hurdles since her last Flat outing can claim third in this.
