Decent on the level in France, she has been campaigned over hurdles by her new yard. She failed to make an impact in that sphere, but the switch back to the Flat could see her in much better light.
Ran in three maidens before moving into handicap company for his latest start and finishing runner-up at Wolverhampton. Steps up in trip, which promises to suit, and is relatively unexposed.
A winner off 6lb lower at Wolverhampton in January, he has been running creditably since, including when runner-up at Chelmsford last week. That was over 2f further, but he is a C&D winner so the drop back in distance should not pose a problem. Closely matched with Pearly Prince on recent running.
Has won five times at this venue and returns in good form after finishing third, not beaten that far, on the turf at Bath last month. Has no secrets from the handicapper, but likely to give it his best shot on his favourite surface.
Still a maiden after eight starts, but looked unlucky over C&D last time when fifth, not beaten far, on his first start for his new yard. Given that he should come on for the run, he definitely enters calculations and has a positive jockey booking.
Only win so far came in a one-mile Newbury handicap last June, so it is slightly surprising to see him being campaigned over 4f further. Not disgraced when fourth over half-a-furlong shorter at Windsor last time, but he took a keen hold and needs to settle better.
Did not get any sort of run when ninth in the C&D race in which Pearly Prince finished fifth. Won at this track in January off a three-pounds lower mark, so he promises to get involved if the breaks fall his way.
Has only one placed effort in 11 starts, and did not get the best of runs when only eighth at Wolverhampton last time. Needs to improve if she is to be involved at the business end.
Makes his debut for his new trainer and takes a 4f step up in trip compared to his last start. Unlikely to be getting any better at his age, so the new distance needs to have the desired effect.

Forecasts
Bamako Du Chatelet (11/4), Bluff Crag (7/2), Pearly Prince (7/2), Bosphorus Prince (9/2), Attain (10/1), Karam Albaari (10/1), Methag (25/1), Teak (25/1), The Dancing Lord (33/1), Sevilla (40/1)
Not many of these have been in the winning habit, but PEARLY PRINCE shaped like a horse about to strike soon on his last outing and has a good pilot on board. Karam Albaari and Bamako Du Chatelet ran behind him on that occasion, but it promises to be a close-run thing once again. Methag is an interesting contender back on the Flat.
- Pearly Prince
- Bamako Du Chatelet
- Karam Albaari
