Winner of his last two starts at Chelmsford over 6f and now 5lb higher for the second of those two wins. Has twice won over C&D off much lower marks but is thriving of late and could well make a bold bid returned to this surface.
Fairly smart handicapper who showed his best form when winning at Wetherby last year off a mark of 77 and held his form well afterwards in some big field sprint handicaps. Returns after a long break here on a surface he hasn't yet shown his best on and may be best watched here.
A much reduced mark and some decent starts have seen this now seven-time winner at the course bounce back to form. His last two wins have come over C&D and he still features on a mark that is below his highest winning one. A good start is crucial for him and another clean break will see him go close again.
Has an enviable course record that reads 13331241 although only one of those wins has come in a handicap and that was off an 8lb lower mark. Consistent enough but has struggled in handicaps before off such marks and has the handicap of stall 1 here to cope with.
Yet to be tried on this surface having won and been placed on the AW at Wolverhampton over 6f. Won at that track last time out in ready fashion but does have an absence, a 5lb higher mark and a new surface to cope with here.
Really found his feet on the Fibresand of late winning two of his last three starts the first over 5f and then over 6f showing progressive form. Found plenty for pressure when winning narrowly last time out but still looks as he has some improvement left in him and one of the major players here.
Another in the field that has form that reads well on the surface (1331) and he was well backed to get back to winning ways last time out over C&D. Found plenty for pressure on that occasion having looked to have been struggling early on eventually winning by 3L and paying for that with an 8lb rise.
Only win came in a York maiden over an extended 5f on his third start and although he's run creditably in handicaps he's yet to win one. The handicapper is starting to show some mercy now but he does have to come with a new surface here against some proven Fibresand performers.

Some real Fibresand specialists here and that has resulted in a very competitive heat. Fujin is on a roll at the moment and will appreciate a return to this surface. Crosse Fire is another who likes it here and is still well handicapped but can spoil his chance at the start. Dark Forest and Vroom are two others that act well on this surface although the latter has the tricky stall 1. Overall TREATY OF ROME still looks as though he could improve and his form on this surface of late is solid and he can take this tough heat.
